After plying her with alcohol, he tried to trick her into allowing an additional man in their bed without her agreement or foreknowledge. It's no wonder that Kia spun a little out of control at first - what woman wouldn't seek support from her closest friend after such a horrific scene? Unfortunately, the story didn't stop with Kia's friend, and that's where the trouble really grew.

Of course, if it weren't for all that trouble, Chase Falladay wouldn't have needed to step into her life to do damage control and help her through the mess, protecting her from the gossip and from her ex-husband. That proximity brought out feelings of protectiveness in him for the lovely little divorcee, though he stifled them for years.

For all that he is a strong, determined Alpha-male type, Chase can only hold out for so long. He denies his feelings for Kia for a while, but they soon get the best of him. Although that may be a little misleading - he knows he has feelings for Kia, but he believes her to be too fragile to handle what he would need from her long-term. And there are the repeated tragedies in his past regarding people he cared about to make him hesitant to get close to her as well.

For Kia's part, she's willing to give Chase anything he asks for - up to a point. After enjoying a few nights of unbridled passion with him, she realizes she can't handle more nights of ONLY PLEASURE with Chase - she needs much more from him. In true ornery Alpha-male style, though, the harder she pushes him away, the more he comes around. You've gotta love it... *grin*

Romance readers who love a dominant, tortured, panty-ripping hero will adore Chase Falladay and won't be able to help being a little jealous of the lucky Kia, regardless of how likable she is. Be With Me- A Joyfully Recommended Title 5 out of 5 stars.

Police officer Regina Fallon has been friends with Hutch, Cam, and Sawyer since she was a young girl. Regina's parents were less than nurturing towards her but she grew up knowing she was loved by her friends and their foster mother, Birdie. Reggie loves them just as much - so much in fact that a year ago she allowed all three men to be with her and the thought of choosing between them is enough to make Reggie run. And so she has. For a year Reggie has avoided her men but not any longer. It seems a vile killer is gunning for Reggie and in order to keep her safe, her men aren't taking no for an answer. Reggie is to be protected at all costs. But what about her heart?

Sawyer Pritchard, Hutch Bishop, and Cam Douglas are brothers in everything but blood. Growing up in awful conditions and finally being sent to live with their foster mother saved their lives. It also brought them Regina Fallon. Reggie's love and unconditional friendship made their lives worth living and all three can't imagine her not being a part of their future. Knowing that Reggie will not choose between them makes what they propose a bit difficult but who said love and life was easy, right? The three men come to an agreement about Reggie, mainly that she is theirs and they love her. Now all they have to do is convince her that the decision is the right one. And between Reggie's stubbornness and a dangerous stalker out to ruin their lives, that might be a tad difficult.

Let me tell you right now. Had Reggie not come to her senses and admitted her love for these three men, I was ready to offer my services. Each hero was to die for in his own individual way. Cam Douglas was the genius of the bunch. From the top of his head to the tips of his toes, I found his wearing glasses to be endearing and his wooing of Reggie to be as gentle and nurturing as spring. Hutch Bishop, Hutch was the happy go lucky one of the three. He was the peacemaker and even though he loved his brothers, I related with his tiny feelings of possessiveness towards Reggie because he was her friend first. He overcame these feelings by being able to spend time with his girl and love her like he wanted. And boy howdy did he want. Finally, there was Sawyer Pritchard. Pure testosterone walking and dominant to boot. He was scared of hurting Reggie with his needs but once convinced she wouldn't break, his lovemaking went forth full throttle and was hot enough to make me blush. Regina Fallon. Police officer and friend to all three men. She knew in her heart of hearts that she was not able to choose between her men and she didn't try. Her acceptance of their relationship took a bit of convincing and I can't blame her. Scared at times and wanting each man to know she loved him individually would be hard to do but Reggie pulled it off beautifully.

If I could pick one thing that I loved the most about Be With Me it would be the fact that the ménage relationship was not glossed over. Each man had problems accepting that they wanted Reggie and that they were willing to share. I found their questions and concerns realistic and endearing. From beginning to end I was enamored, enthralled, and enchanted by Be With Me and like all Maya Banks' releases, it is a keeper. Be With Me is an original, one that I am happy to Joyfully Recommend! It is ménage heaven wrapped up in 368 pages of text!

I hate to be mean to authors because they're giving it their best (or at least I hope so), but this book made me feel like Palahniuk is just writing because it's his job. It wasn't a gripping tale like Fight Club or even Diary, and it was only 180 pages so it's only entertaining for a day. He throws a lot of gross descriptions in the book for filler, like how the floor is covered in sex goo, and that's about all you get out of it besides a twisted love triangle between the guys in the waiting room and the porn star.

All in all, if you want a great story, pick up Diary, Survivor, or especially Fight Club, but you can pass this one up unless you absolutely have to read all of Palahniuk's works.

This group of fairy tales was very steamy and original. It is explicit but written in an old fashioned way that I found extra exciting. Some of the more outstanding stories I thought were Beauty and the Beast, Cat and Mouse, Cinderella, The Empresses' New Clothes and Mirror on the Wall. There are many interesting and validating points made about women in the telling. I see by the reviews that some people did not like these ideas mixed in their erotica. While I'm not sure if I agree with every point made, I thought they gave the stories that same "moral of the story" feeling the original fairy tales had. Maybe that was this author's intention. It made the stories more thought provoking than most erotica I read. In my case it made the stories more enjoyable for me.

Sam and Tyler Warren have been involved in missing person cases since they were young boys. Able to touch a missing person's garment and tell whether or not that person is alive and what that person is feeling, Sam and Tyler are unprepared for the range of emotions they encounter when they telepathically link with missing model Kaycee Alcott.

Kaycee has been kidnapped, beaten, and drugged. At the first opportunity, she is able to escape but just barely. Waking up in a local hospital, Kaycee can't give any clues to her kidnapper and finds herself experiencing nightmares and post traumatic stress. She also finds herself attracted to the men assigned to her case, identical twins Sam and Tyler Warren.

Sam and Tyler get their supervisor's approval to remove Kaycee from the hospital and transport her to their home. There she will be safe until she can recall details of her kidnapping. It is also there that the twins hope she will realize that in loving and being attracted to one twin, she just might be attracted to both - because with Sam and Tyler, it is all or nothing. The woman who falls in love with one of them must fall in love with both of them. Now all they have to do is keep her safe long enough for her to fall for them because they have no doubts that she is THEIR ONE AND ONLY.

I love the premise and plot of THEIR ONE AND ONLY. Twins fascinate me tremendously and I have always wondered, "What If?" Sam and Tyler individually are different; one is hard, the other softer. One is very dominant, the other is a peacemaker. Together they are a force to be reckoned with and I found myself in awe of Kaycee's ability to hold them off as long as she does. I would have fallen after the first kiss.

As far as contemporary ménages go, THEIR ONE AND ONLY is a perfect look at that type of lifestyle. I loved everything about this book and can't wait to reread it. THEIR ONE AND ONLY is available at Loose Id.

This is not a book for the weak-kneed. Tons of erotic sex including a menage. 3 stories, 1 for each of a group of women who have dared each other to have sex with someone pretty much out of their comfort zone (and to enjoy it). This book is very discriptive and extremely explicit. Enjoy!

Seems like someone was watching porn and putting the visual onto paper. If you like porn, you will love the book!! In the same sense that porn really doesn't need dialogue, this book could have done away with the silly story. Ridiculous story line that seemed to be just thrown in there for no reason. The sex parts.. fantastic. The story... not so much. So much work and detail was put into the details of the sex, which I love. The rest of the book, the other 15%, was like a struggle. No balance. Good to read to getcha in 'the mood'

I didn't buy this version,instead,I read an ebook of Lolita.
Indeed the book is vastly controversial.I don't think it can be classified as classic literature.Nabokov reminds me of D.H.Lawrence,because both of them pick the most embarrassing thing as their topic.Maybe their writing skills are peerless,but,to me,a good literary work has not only melodious languages,it must be encouraging rather than obscene.
Something is nagging at me for a long time.What is truly "conquering the Nature"?We human have been the dominant for a long time,but some of us still cannot control our sexual desires,power ambitions and obsessions
with money.If we want to really conquer the Nature,the only thing we need to do is to control ourselves.Humbert failed,so he had no power over himself and became a criminal in the end.Love is,as a matter of fact,not so complicated as people think.Personally I think love shouldn't be like Humbert's.We come to the world with nothing,and we can take nothing with us when we leave .So,in order to lead a worthy life,we must try to understand what we live for.To me,everyone should live for understanding what he lives for-a lifelong exploration,that is.Humbert is of little difference from an animal,since they both don't understand what life really is.They eat,drink,sleep,couple,and die.As for Lolita,she's no better than Humbert.
And that's the saddest part of the story.
