The year is 1997, Michael Soussan, a fresh-faced young graduate takes up a new job at the U.N.’s Oil-for-Food Program, the largest humanitarian operation in the organization’s history. His mission is to help Iraqi civilians survive the devastating impact of economic sanctions that were imposed following the 1990 invasion of Kuwait.

As a gaffe-prone novice in a world of sensitive taboos, Soussan struggles to negotiate the increasing paranoia of his incomprehensible boss and the inner workings of one of the world’s notoriously complex bureaucracies. But as he learns more about the vast sums of money flowing through the program, it becomes clear that all is not what it seems. Soussan becomes aware that Saddam Hussein is extracting illegal kickbacks, a discovery that sets him on a collision course with the organization‘s leadership. On March 8, 2004, in a Wall Street Journal op-ed editorial, Soussan becomes the first insider to call for “an independent investigation” of the U.N.’s dealings with Saddam Hussein. Farrell continues investigating the "missing" history surrounding the Nazis and World War II started in "Reich of the Black Sun." With his usual precise methods and meticulous balance, he continues to astound with further depth and revelations about this subject.

What do the deaths of General Patton and JFK have to do with Nazis and UFOs? How are UFOs related to secret Nazi war research and current "black projects?" Were NASA and the CIA filled with Nazis? How are ancient history, the SS, fringe physics, South America, UFOs, Guy Bannister, Antarctica, global corporations, the Thule Society, Oswald, NASA, the Bunge corporation, and Danny Casolaro's infamous "Octopus" all connected?

Curious?

This book takes up the thread of these and related questions he began exploring in "Reich of the Black Sun," taking the reader through more of the same unpleasant terrain to some equally unpleasant conclusions. Farrell includes his usual heavy doses of science along the way.

Farrell unearths fascinating ideas and information, linking them to threads of science and history. One must read in depth to appreciate the amount of detail and knowledge presented in his books, as well as the depth of insight and perception of the author. I recommend all of Farrell's books, and this is no exception.

Texe's powerful book awakens us to the fact that we are immortal Spiritual Beings temporarily entrapped in the realm of Illusion ... these symbols are indicators that we are in the "prison" planet of the "counterfeit god", the god of this world, who uses every means of deception to keep us prisoners in his domain of matter.

This is my first Amazon.com book review and it is this book, Seeds of Destruction, that finally moved me to write such a review.

I have purchased literally thousands of dollars worth of books from Amazon.com alone and I find this book, Seeds of Destruction, is THE most important book I have come across.

I haven't read the entire book yet, but from what I have read so far (especially the chapter on Argentina), this is one of THE most important and timely books of the past 100 years and this new century.

There are only a few books that are worth their weight in gold and this book by F. William Engdahl is one of them. This work will be remembered as a "signature service" to humanity (a term used in the intelligence world to denote exceptional work).

What a priceless work of research and documentation (some 17 years of hard research) into the heart of absolute Evil that is masquerading behind this GMO movement--the veritable cancer that is metastasizing upon the Earth body--and that has been behind the so-called eugenics movement since 1913. But this book is much more than GMO. It is about the people behind the GMO and eugenics movement and why they are doing what they are doing.

If you really care about your children, your family, and the survival of the human race and of planet earth, then you must first buy and read this book, and then buy 10 more copies as I did and give them to all your friends and family members.

Tell them that this book might save their lives.

I have said this many times, "Knowledge is only a seed, only illumined action produces fruits!' This book is that vital seed without which we are looking toward to some really dire eventualities.

Great book about a true patriot, who upheld his oath to defend the US Constitution, instead of going along with the unwritten oath of being blindly loyal to his superiors and just following orders. E.g., Butler was appointed police chief of Philadelphia, during Prohibition, but when he decided that equal enforcement of the law meant going after the rich as well as the common man, he was immediately fired. Too many parallels to the present war in Iraq to go into detail. Please read the book! (Also read John Spritzer's The People as Enemy to get the skinny on the last "good war".)

The Soprano State details the you-couldn't-make-this-up true story of the corruption that has pervaded New Jersey politics, government, and business for the past thirty years. From Jimmy Hoffa purportedly being buried somewhere beneath the end zone in Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands, through allegations of a thoroughly corrupt medical and dental university, through Mafia influence at all levels, to a governor who suddenly declares himself a “gay American” and resigns, the Garden State might indeed be better named after the HBO mobsters.

Where else would:

- A state attorney general show up after police pulled over her boyfriend who was driving without a valid license?

- A state senator and mayor of Newark (the same guy) spend thousands of dollars of taxpayers’ money on a junket to Rio days before leaving office?

- A politically connected developer hire a prostitute to tape sex acts with his own brother-in-law and then send the tape to his sister?

Only in the Soprano State.

As you can see from the reviews here, many people also love this book.

I love the trip down memory lane that this book provides. Sure is fun to go back to a more innocent time and remember what it was like before the internet became huge. If you remember archie, gopher, kermit, then this is a book for you.

Even if you're too young to remember this time, it would be quite fun to watch WAR GAMES and then read this book. I love the writing style--this is a real page-turner.

A sentimental favorite, The Cuckoo's Egg seems to have inspired a whole category of books exploring the quest to capture computer criminals. Still, even several years after its initial publication and after much imitation, the book remains a good read with an engaging story line and a critical outlook, as Clifford Stoll becomes, almost unwillingly, a one-man security force trying to track down faceless criminals who've invaded the university computer lab he stewards. What first appears as a 75-cent accounting error in a computer log is eventually revealed to be a ring of industrial espionage, primarily thanks to Stoll's persistence and intellectual tenacity.
