These cards were a great way for me to study for my exam. I found the colorful examples and the great black letter law and theory definition cards to be very effective. In addition the way these cards are organized is great.

If you're in a California non-ABA approved law school and after about nine months you are completely burnt out with your text books then start studying these criminal law flash cards. In the first 100 cards it clarifies legal terms that extend to torts as well such as vicarious liabilty and these flash cards go on to explain the exact difference between proximate cause and cause in fact for both criminal law and torts as well. These flash cards are not as hard to study as text books but they are not a substitute for them either. If you are 1ls in an ABA approved law school then disregard this review and study whatever your law professor recommends.

3.) Most of the reading composition topics are the same as the blue book. They just changed some of the words.

I am a full-time tutor and have several of my students use this book. As with any test prep book not published by the College Board, there a couple of questionable questions. The answers and explanations sections are fair; I have not found a book that offers very good commentary on answer choices. The explanations still give a student the chance to work independently.
Some questions are modeled after the College Board book's while others are not.
Overall, Kaplan 12 is valuable, because it is most important for students to PRACTICE and think critically about their incorrect answers. Where are you going to find more practice?

The problem with this book is it is written too much like a book and not like a textbook. It is nearly impossible to find the equations that are embedded in the text if you are trying to do a quick reference on a concept. In addition, the index is horrible which leaves me constantly googling concepts that I need for the case studies since you can never find them in the book. Also, I'm not really sure how the book distinguishes itself as "health care" there is little to no health care specifics as far as finance goes. In all reality it isn't a great book especially if it is for your first finance class and you're better off looking up academic journals for a the health care finance perspective.

If you think you are ready for the exam and are not sure what is going to be on the test, this is a great book. This is NOT to learn from if you do not know Microsoft Office, it is for someone who believes they know the material but don't know what they don't know.

Mr. Hyde is a known murderer. Dr Jekyll is an honorable doctor in the scientific community. These people's lives should never cross, but why is Hyde the heir of Jekyll. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Luis Stevenson is set in Edinburgh, Scotland. The plot focuses on the duality of man and our capability to do both good and evil. The book does not take long to read and can probably be read in under 2 hours depending on your reading speed. This book is not hard to understand, it is written in prose. This book is not a murder fest and is probably better off for that. The book is written as a mystery. It would be better to compare it to a Hitchcock horror film than to Saw. I like it because it was a chance for me to read a classic, but not spend a month reading it. The plot was interesting and raised some interesting questions. All in all it is an interesting, but not time-consuming book.

We've all been there: writhing with discomfort as guests in someone's home because the host couple can't seem to stop arguing. That's the predicament Nick and Honey find themselves in after stopping over at George and Martha's house for drinks following a party for the college Nick and George teach at (and which Martha's father owns and operates). But this is no petty disagreement that George and Martha are having; Nick and Honey have become unwitting accomplices in the psychological warfare that George and Martha have engaged in after years of bitter disappointment and rivalry. Where it started is left open for interpretation, although it seems that when George and Martha were married George had his eyes on following in his father-in-law's footsteps, and instead found himself hopelessly stuck after failing to move up in his department (to which Martha nastily insinuates that he just didn't have "the STUFF," a multi-pronged jab at George's career, intelligence, and ability to satisfy his wife). But the depths of their unhappiness -- and other possible explanations for it -- are only revealed in layers, with the biggest twist saved for the final minutes of Edward Albee's diabolical gem of a play. And what of the hapless guests, the newlyweds Nick and Honey? They turn out to have some secrets and disappointments of their own that come out in the course of the evening, but it is George and Martha's pathos that claim the spotlight. Their manipulations, lies, insults, and betrayals may be difficult to watch, but "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is spellbinding drama at its best, and luckily for those of you who haven't seen it performed, the play reads just as well as it plays. I would, however, recommend watching it after you have read it -- even if only as a point of interest, because the roles of George and Martha have inspired many great performances. Kathleen Turner captivated Broadway with her rendition of Martha in 2005, but if you can't get access to a showing the 1966 movie with the inimitable pairing of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor (with George Segal and Sandy Dennis supporting) is far and away the definitive version. This is not to detract from the written play, of course, just to point out that "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is that rare play that excells in both formats, and should be experienced accordingly.

This is the most comprehensive guide to each step of the grad school application process. Not only does Don offer great tips for writing an essay, he outlines several PROVEN methods to set your application apart. Best of all, this guide is easy to read & very entertaining. If you're thinking about applying to grad school, this is a MUST read!

I bought this book because I wasnt quite sure where to start with my essays. The year before I felt my personal essay was lacking and I didnt get into graduate school. This year with the advice the book gave as well as a jumping point to start my essay's, I was accepted to 8 out of 9 graduate schools where I applied and chose to go to the number 2 school for my field! This book is worth looking at if you dont know where to start with your essays. You need to remember that other people are looking at it which is giving them the edge up so if you arent looking at it yours will just be boring!
