The BEST Quick Reference EVER! 5 out of 5 stars.
4 of 5 people found this review helpful.

This is by far the best electrical quick reference I have ever seen. This book contains easy to understand, full color drawings; not schematics. It has everything you need to make sure your project is code compliant. GREAT for the Do-It-Yourself electrician! It is primarily geared toward Residential. The spiral binding makes it easy for reference while working. Also the pages are water resistant!
As an electrician, I have used other quick references like "UGLY's", but this one takes the cake!!

As stated, simple wiring code info.. 4 out of 5 stars.
6 of 6 people found this review helpful.

Don't expect step by step instructions for a job you'd like to do.. other books for that.

If you know how to do the work, this will make sure you do it according to code.
Many people have good ideas out there, but doesn't always comply with code.

I'd say a BIT high in price at $10, uses cheap paper and gets updated often making old version pretty much trash. A few years ago this same title only cost about $4. That's quite a price jump.

Stay up to date and safe.

5/06/2008
NOTE; This version is out of date now...NEC is updated and published every three years. The 2008 Code is the most recent edition, approved on August 15, 2007. Here at Amazon for pre-order.
