The Power of Awareness is a hidden jewel. For over 34 years, I've been studying Spiritual Masters, and although there are many with valuable information, Neville, uncovers the mystery in attaining your deepest desires. A step by step process, where by you receive the tools necessary to manifest your intentions. A book to refer to, always, as you must practice this wisdom daily and do your "internal" work. It's not a magic bullet, there are none. Yet the more you re-read, you have the keys to unfold your magnificent life. Buy it, you'll be amazed.

I absolutely love all of Neville's books, but they are an acquired taste.
They are not really for beginning students of the Law of Attraction. The Abraham-Hicks Books are better for that, especially "Ask and it is Given".

Those who hate quotes from the bible or metaphysical Christianity won't warm up to Neville either. Those who can't handle the word God won't like his works either. Or if you're not ready to accept full responsibility for your life as your creation, try another author.

Neville's work is for those students who know that "the Secret" is only part of the answer, who realize there is a deeper energy behind all things. Neville will lead you to the source of all creation; that is
You as God here and now feeling and assuming all that you want to see manifest and transpire in your world, for yourself and others.

Neville writes like a mystic and poet even as he concerns himself in the manifestation of even the most mundane and trivial matters. Neville would have you the student fully immersing yourself in the Law of Assumption via your imagination to obtain real world results here and now.

As a 25 year student in these matters, I can say that Neville's instruction and lessons result in solid results. So if you're feeling ready to study Neville this book is a good start. If you actually took time to read this, you're probably ready.

'Making Sense out of Suffering' 5 out of 5 stars.

Fr. Benedict Groeschel is a perceptive speaker and writer. His deft understanding of psychology and spirituality make a synthesis that is illuminating and understandable. No mere intellectual, he gives a wealth of examples for every topic he pursues. 'Arise from Darkness' gives clear treatment for the darker mysteries of life: death and suffering. Like other gifted authors, he takes the drudgery of the hardest aspects of life and delivers his audience with explanations and anecdotes providing meaning and healing. He doesn't ever back down from his topic. Even the captions and chapters tell a great deal of the story: "When Our Security Is Threatened," "When the Church Lets Us Down," and "When Death Robs Us". He is as direct as you can get. He has several honest diagnoses, including "We are afraid to live, and even more afraid to die." Insightful and ruggedly pedestrian, Fr. Groeschel and his book can help us live up to his title and "Arise from Darkness".

Well I've read a lot of Law of Attraction material, but this one put it all together for me as far as imagination and the mind goes.
Although if I would've read it first it may not have sunk in as much.
Lots of underlining in this book !

How does our dreams come true and what makes our dreams come true? We all have dreams and we often think that our dreams are held somewhere far away in the future, but in reality our dreams are held right now in our hearts.

The awakened imagination by Neville Goddard made me understand that, that our dreams are our thoughts and feelings. Reading the book which was passionately written, not only help me internalize this message, it also brought home the understanding that l have been longing for. It explained most verses in the bible and it also gave clear and sincere explanation of most biblica quotations that has been misinterpretated.

If am ever stock in a place or in an island without food or means of survival, l rather be stock with this very specail book, because this is a book that not only inspires, it also empowers one with the knowledge of ones own ever present divinity and potentials.

This Book is BOTH Theologically Sound AND Effective! 5 out of 5 stars.

For Catholics (and other Christians, heck, for anybody!), psychotherapist and author Gregory Popcak provides here a great deal of sound theological, psychological and practical support for the attachment-style of parenting, not just in the "baby years" but all the way through! He has written a book for Catholic parents ("Parenting with Grace"), but also promotes on his radio show and blog secular authors whose work backs up with sound science the principles he embraces, including Margo Sunderland (The Science of Parenting), Dr. William Sears (of course) and Gordon Neufeld (Hold On to Your Kids).

Popcak is able to articulate a real theological basis for making parenting decisions AND has many extremely useful practical strategies for improving connection between parents and kids which enhance behavior. His work has the approval of his bishop, and is supported by many Catholic theologians, priests and lay experts.

Popcak has taken some flak in some Christian childrearing circles for being anti-spanking, but I support him. He has a better way. And if you think that YOU have a situation where you REALLY need to spank your kid, call Popcak up on his weekly radio program and ask him. I guarantee you he will have an effective AND loving answer. Call my bluff on this.

A recent study showed that children of religious parents behave better. I believe those who read and follow Greg Popcak's work here must be skewing that sample! Contrary to popular belief, not all religious parents use an authoritarian style of parenting to improve short-term behavior. In the case of this Catholic author, the love of Christ and our reflection of that love calls us as parents to demonstrate love radically through self-giving to our children. This doesn't mean permissive parenting, but radical love and being willing to inconvience ourselves to meet our children's needs, along with having the guts to set limits when we are "working for our children's good."

If there are Catholics, other Christians or seekers out there looking for gentle religion-based parenting that WILL improve behavior through love, I recommend Popcak's work.

This is a great book for therapists who need general, well-rounded information regarding how to conduct pre-marital counseling.

I like to say it's like Lay's potato chips: You can't stop at just one of the stories in this book. Each story is the perfect length for a quick reading in the course of a busy life. Yet each is inspirational and you find yourself trying to sneak in just one more story before you have to get back to your duties.

I have and will continue to give this book as gifts. It is the perfect end-of-year gift for Catholic school teachers or CCD/RE teachers. Frankly, giving it out to your family and friends is a great idea too. Easy to read, yet never "fluffy" or watered-down, it is another amazing contribution by Jeff Cavins and Matt Pinto. Thanks guys!

I love Fulton Sheen, his book has helped turn my life around 5 out of 5 stars.

I read Fulton Sheen's book a couple of years ago. While rereading it, many things come back to me which have pointed my life away from depending on the material, the immoral and the un-helpful ways of finding peace in friends and psychiatrists who have just about tried to separate me from the true faith Catholicism and to separate me from Jesus Christ. I find it quite interesting that the chapter of his where he compares psychology vs faith in the Healing Physician (ie Jesus Christ Himself) is very much the core of why people keep going to their shrinks when they might do better going to Holy Mass and meditating on where their souls are at the present time. My biggest recommendation to all is that our souls are the highest possession we have from God above, and that in communing with His Son and the Saints (esp Fulton Sheen, because I know he is in heaven and should be a saint) is our passport to heaven. I feel much gratitude to Fulton J Sheen, and will always be indebted to him and his teachings for where I am and who I am now. Peaceable and contemplative.
