Nice Quarter Folder 5 out of 5 stars.

I have bought several different quarter folders - trying to find the best one for my grandchildren- this is the VERY BEST ONE- I plan to replace all my previously purchased coin folders with this one. The quarters fit nicely - and there is a little finger area to lift each coin out if you want to look at it or reposition it. I have not been nearly as happy with any other folder. They are either very difficult to put in- the cardboard ones especially -or some quarters fall out of other ones. This one is perfect. It is also very attractive and has a book that includes facts about each state. The magnetic strip on mine doesn't work too well but it doesn't really harm anything- the folder stays together fine. I can't wait to give one to each of my 11 grandchildren! :)

There are a lot of coin books out there. I chose this one for my 8 year old daughter to begin coin collecting b/c it was colorful and it has a book inside to teach her about the different state coins. It holds the coins well. Overall, great product.

It was a nice product. The only thing that I didn't like was that it was difficult to insert the quarters.

I just wanted a quarter that would fit each state, regardless of mint location which this folder does. However, I found this folder to be of poor quality. The first two pages fit the quarters fine, but I could not get the quarters to fit in the later coin slots (2007-2008).

I just bought the Littleton quarter folder because of the excellent reviews I saw online and I'm very pleased with the purchase - The quarters fit great in the slots and the book cost less than this one. I threw out this folder.

Good Value. Need to be handle it carefully to prevent the panels from coming apart. However, Elmer's Glue solved that problem (I think permanently).

I found this folder to be great. It not only has the slots for the states, but also slots for the upcomming D.C and outer Territoies. It also has four additional slots to place whatever you want in it. My choice was the Bicentennial Quarters.

The book is very colorful and my daughters really like them. I wish they were more complete. They do not have the numbers of the animals.

We ordered this kit for a beginner at stamp collecting. We expected the album to be free-form, so he could save the stamps that he likes. Instead the album has pages for specific years, starting in 1901, and photos of specific stamps for many of the spaces. I'm not a stamp collector myself, and maybe this is a standard format, but it's not at all what we wanted. The Guide is okay, and the magnifying glass is inexpensive but okay. But we ordered the kit primarily for the album, and it's collecting dust on a shelf.

Stickers fail to impress 1 out of 5 stars.

I ordered this thick paperback thinking that I would get a lot of large stickers. However, this book managed to fit 70 pokemon stickers each on 7 pages, meaning very small stickers. There's six huge stickers on the back, which is a nice plus. Get Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl Sticker Collection (Pokemon (DK Publishing)) (Paperback) if you want big stickers.

I bought this book to entertain my 6 year old Pokemon fan in the car. I am not sure how long he played with it, but long enough to put all the stickers in their correct spots. He really enjoyed this book.

A lavishly illustrated celebration of our collective childhood 5 out of 5 stars.

For the last 65 years, children have grown up on The Poky Little Puppy, The Color Kittens, The Saggy Baggy Elephant, Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever, dozens of other Golden Books titles. To celebrate the legacy of this innovative publishing venture, Leonard S. Marcus has released the art book "Golden Legacy: How Golden Books Won Children's Hearts, Changed Publishing Forever, and Became an American Icon Along the Way." The collection is not only an exquisitely beautiful celebration of our collective childhood, but the rich history of the publishing company that changed the face of literacy in America.

The first Golden Books, published in 1942, were distributed through supermarket chains at a retail price of 25 cents. At the time, paper shortages had increased the average cost of children's picture books to $2, putting them financially out of reach for many consumers. Librarians initially resisted the mass-produced books with a place to draw your name inside, but parents could purchase a title a week, children could devour the books on the go like any other toy, and television and cartoon marketers quickly seized cross-promotional opportunities. Golden Books succeeded at their goal of democratizing reading and personal book ownership for families across America.

Given that this title was published by Golden Books, the overall tone is rather celebratory, but author Marcus does not censor all detractors. He covers the controversial flat fee payments to the creative talents behind early titles. Those authors and illustrators have received no residuals from books which are still bestsellers today, 65 years later.

A 2007 copy of The Poky Little Puppy is nearly identical to the original 1942 edition that launched a publishing empire. After reading Golden Legacy, the reader may well be inspired to seek out copies of both for his or her personal library.

The stamp album is very basic. But, it is a great, inexpensive album for a grade school child. They can see if they like the hobby without spending a lot of money

Now, with this nifty cardstock collector's kit, kids can store those stamps inside small acetate pockets for safekeeping. Along the way, they'll learn about stamp collecting techniques (parts of a stamp, handling, grading, etc.) and important nuggets of United States state trivia.

This is the third and final book in the series written by Robert Tieman. The first two books were fun and wonderful, but this was his best of the lot in my opinion. Of course, I am a Mickey Mouse fan and this book is all about Mickey. This book contains really wonderful reproductions of old Mickey Mouse memorabilia, the originals of which I could never afford. If you like Mickey you really must own this book!
