The worst of Logic... 1 out of 5 stars.

I have used Logic since the "Creator" days (those of you who remember that program are older than you care to admit!), and I use Logic on a DAILY basis as my prime DAW. I love to have as many different perspectives on the subject as possible, so I read EVERYTHING that is released about the program, because I usually find some little gem, some little morsel, that makes that particular read worthwhile...

Not here. This is BY FAR the worst book on Logic out there, and is a TOTAL waste of time. The writer simply redid the manual (which, honestly, now that Apple has taken over, is truly excellent) and crammed it into this poorly written, poorly edited text.

Instead, I would point the motivated user to George Leger III's DVD on Logic 6 (it is still quite relevant for users of Logic 7) and especially to Martin Sitter's introduction, and to David Dvorin's Advanced Logic books; however, if one doesn't have the cash to spend after spending it on this rather expensive (but HIGH value) program, then read the manuals over and over rather than wasting one dime on this book. Even used it is not worth purchasing...
