This is the one story of a post nuclear civilization, that had a believable backround, and a well followed story line. You won't be able to put this one down. It's the kind of tale that keeps you up nights. Semper Fi!

Rich characters, intense action scenes and thought provoking storyline - would make a fantastic movie! Couldn't put it down during the last battle scene!

A post-apocalyptic heavy duty entertainer. What a great read. Great characterization, thought provoking story and best of all....soooo entertaining. Must read. And then get ready to follow-up with Wanderer and Witch. Buy them all at once, you won't be disappointed. What a great trilogy! Hoo-Rah.

Rose Priestess Sylah's successful quest for ancient knowledge had shattered the unity of the Church and branded her a witch. I really enjoyed reading this as well as Witch and Warrior. Post-apocalyptic with many different characters to walk with. Look through the eyes of those who have survived in more ways than one.
