My son loves these books 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

My son (age 6 1/2) loves reading this series. He reads them to himself, he reads them to his siblings, he reads them to his grandparents. He can't get enough of them.

One suggestion is to purchase them in sets because although the stories are self-contained, there are aspects of them that are connected. For example the first fours books (1-4) deal with adventures involving a shrinking machine, the second set (5-8) deal with underwater pursuits.

Highly recommend!

This was a good book because it had true facts about dogs. One of the facts was that dogs can find something buried under the snow because they can sense heat. It was a little bit funny when Judy thought that the Atom sucker was a gadget to explode stuff and she said that it would explode her helicopter. I would recommend this as a good book.

Editorial Review:

When Andrew’s latest invention, the Atom Sucker, goes haywire, Andrew and Judy are shrunk down to microscopic level! Andrew and Judy find themselves lost on their neighbor’s dog, where they encounter everything from colossal fleas to crab-like eyelash mites. Now they have to find their way back to the Atom Sucker and get unshrunk before it’s too late!

Matthew's review 3 out of 5 stars.

This book is about Andrew getting lost in the bathroom. It was a little boring because there were no silly parts. There was one part that I liked, when they didn't know how fungus could harm them and turn them into juice. I also learned that bacterium lives in slime cities. I preferred the other books in the series rather than this one. I would sort of recommend book.

For a nine year old 5 out of 5 stars.

My nine year old has just discovered this series. He absolutely loves them. The series is not only funny and entertaining it also has some good science lessons in them that can be expanded on if you are creative with them.

Editorial Review:

When Andrew and Judy’s neighbor gives her dog a bath, microscopic Andrew and Judy find themselves washed off the dog and lost in the bathroom! They’ll have to use their wits–and Thudd’s storehouse of facts–if they’re to survive run-ins with mold, mildew, an ocean of soapy water, and a predatory spider on their way back to the Atom Sucker.

Editorial Review:

ANDREW, JUDY, AND Thudd are still the size of insects. Andrew has invented special bug suits to protect them. But the suits won’t help much when they get lost in a pond full of frogs that love to eat bugs! They come face-to-face with fierce larvae, giant waterbugs, diving beetles, and socalled moss animals that look like floating brains. Will Andrew, Judy, and Thudd find their way out of the pond . . . before they croak? Another exciting and fact-filled adventure sure to please kids, parents, teachers, and librarians alike!

The book Andrew Lost in The Kitchen is a funny, and full
Of adventure kind of book. Andrew is a boy with his cousin Judy,
and Andrew's little robot named Tudd. Andrew accidently shunk
himself, Judy, and Tudd so they're going through all these disasters like almost getting hit with a fly swatter. This is the funny
part of the story. Andrew, Judy, and Tudd call it toilet bowling when they got flushed dawn the toilet with Andrew's invention the
`imbubble,'' also know as a shield. They also got flushed dawn the toilet with something else. Do you know what? Dog pop.
You should read this book because it's funny, and full of adventure. Also you can have more fun when you read all
the other book of it.

Editorial Review:

Andrew, his cousin Judy, and super-smart robot Thudd escape the bathtub–only to get flushed down the toilet! Now they have to find their way through a maze of pipes to the kitchen sink. But the kitchen is no place to be when you’re the size of a flea. Monster cockroaches scurry across the counter while flies patrol the skies. Will the kids survive the kitchen? Or will they end up frozen in the fridge? Time is running out!

Interesting read ....... Highly Recommended ........... 5 stars

The Review
Far below the surface of the sea, Thudd the robot, ten year old inventor Drewd, and his thirteen year old cousin Judy have an eye-popping run in with Soggy Bob Sloggins. Drewd and Judy's top secret scientist Uncle Al just cannot stop inventing. Uncle Al's latest invention is the Water Bug.

Writer Greenburg has produced an engaging view into the underwater panorama world of the ocean. By combining humor, plain good writing, fast paced adventure and solid scientific fact `Andrew Lost' is a book sure to appeal to middle grade boys and girls alike. Without sounding like he is teaching; Thudd brings kids much information relating to the fascinating world teeming below the surface of the sea.

Fast paced, entertaining read. Happy to recommend.

Matthew's review 4 out of 5 stars.

I liked Andrew Lost--In the Garden. The book was about Andrew Lost getting lost in the garden. It was interesting how they got all of what they had to get done in exactly one hour. It was a little funny when the bugs did the work for them. I learned that there are tiny creatures in the dirt that help make soil. I would recommend this book.

Editorial Review:

Andrew, his cousin Judy, and super-smart robot Thudd hitch a ride out of the kitchen on the back of a fly and end up in the garden. The view is awfully nice from the head of a daisy, but time is running out. . . . They have to get back to the Atom Sucker and unshrink themselves before it’s too late!

Another fast Adventure 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Wow! I did'nt think Andrew's and Judy's adventures could get muct better than 1-5 of the Andrew's books. But, here it is: Andrew lost in the Whale is my favorite! When Andrew shows Judy The Water Bug...it was no big deal. That changes really fast when he accidently pushes the Search for the Giant Sqiud button. It is at this point that Andrew, Judy, and Thud begin
an adventure that takes them to helping Whales and riding out terrible storms in the ocean near Hawaii. I loved this book and found every chapter holding my attention and keeping me on the edge of my seat.

2nd in a Andrew Underwater story 4 out of 5 stars.

Andrew Lost: In The Whale is a continuation to Andrew Lost: Underwater. The 1st-4th are all a continued story. But in Andrew Lost: Underwater, is a all new story. Andrew Lost: In the whale is a good story. Andrew, Judy, & Thudd get swollowed by a Blue Whale. They can brethe through their bubble duds, but the bubble duds will come apart after 2 hours. Will Andrew, Judy, & Thudd escape in time? Find out in Andrew Lost: In the whale.

Editorial Review:

After escaping an underwater volcano, Andrew, Judy, and Thudd drive their submersible vehicle, the Water Bug, right down a whale’s throat!

This is the second in a four-book set that will take the kids on a tour of undersea phenomena, from the Great Barrier Reef to the Mariana Trench to the inside of a whale, as they try to find their way home.

Matthew's review 5 out of 5 stars.

This book was about Andrew Lost getting lost in the Great Barrier Reef. They kept running into Soggy Bob's animals that he had trained to destroy them. They only didn't know that it was Soggy Bob when the cone snails came and attacked them. A cone snail is a snail with a very venomous tooth, and it also has a snout to suck in the nutrients from the other animal. This book was a little silly because they kept calling each other stupid. I would recommend this book.

Andrew Lost on the Reef 4 out of 5 stars.

This series is a great way to introduce new readers to the lengthier chapter books. They get VERY involved in the storylines and all the misadventures of the Andrew Lost characters. My son has all the ones now out in print and is anxiously awaiting the next chapter due out this summer.

Editorial Review:

Andrew, Judy, and Thudd are out of the whale, but not out of trouble, when the Water Bug gets caught on the Great Barrier Reef! Heaven for our Seven Year-Old 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Our son is seven, in love with science and reading. He has gobbled up all 11 of these books and can't wait for the next one in the series. He loves the characters, particularly the little robot, and the adventures are just suspenseful enough and benevolent enough for his seven year-old heart. We started out reading them to him last year; this year he reads them to himself. A joy!

Editorial Review:

Andrew, Judy, and Thudd have escaped the Big Bang only to find themselves trapped inside the Earth as it forms all around them! Meanwhile Uncle Al is stranded in the Ice Age. Somehow Andrew, Judy, and Thudd must fix their time machine and rescue Uncle Al—before he becomes dinner for a sabertooth tiger! Kids, parents, and teachers love this series—kids for all its gooey grossness, and teachers and parents for all the fun science and great discussion points!

“Andrew Lost books are gross and disgusting. That’s why we like them.”—The Washington Post

“One cliff-hanger after another.”—School Library Journal

“At the end of each book are additional pages of interesting facts . . . even when the stories end, the learning never stops.”—Kidsreads.com
