this book is really nice,, it is made to look old but is actually new, if you are at all into dragon books or any of the "Harry potter" type of stuff, as my nephew (10 years old)is you wont be disapointed in this book,, he loved it, he carts it around everywhere, spending hours looking at each page, worth every penny i paid

My grandson recently stated that he was "into" dragons. With that in mind this was an early Christmas purchase. Well I have to say that I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase; it almost makes me wish that I was a girl again as any child going through the pages of this book is going to experience an adventure.

Covering everything from dragon habitats, physiology and behavior to finding, tracking, taming, and flying them. A really fun book for the Harry Potter crowd and anyone enamored of Dragons. Books like this - Wizardology, Dragonology, The Wandmaker's Guidebook, and other "ology" books are the very thing a young person just starting to learn about magick and paganism needs to get started. Even a young adult (age 16-24) who is just getting their first lessons could benefit from books like these. They are very practical and well-written - much too well-written to be simply dismissed as books only suitable for children. I recommend all the books in this series to kids and adults alike!!

Great book...not-so-great models 3 out of 5 stars.

Book is great...my son loves it. However, the models don't stay together and cause lots of frustration. We're going to have to glue them together so they don't continue to fall apart. Would have given this item 5 stars if the models had been of a higher quality.

My 10 year old daughter first checked this out of the library twice & still wanted to check it out again.
I logged on to Amazon & found it, bought it as a surprise & she looks at it & reads it at least weekly.

If you want a GREAT kids book on egyptology this is it!

My grandson had a friend who had these books. He wanted them, they are not meant to be read cove to cover, you choose the endings ! He enjoyed them alot. Great fun. Nice set.

I bought this gift for my nephew who loves anything with dragons. Imagine his surprise when he saw this book for his birthday! I bought this book and the other Dragonology book. What gorgeous books! They looked like they had real leather covers. The prices on these two books could not be beat.

He was so enchanted with the beautiful pages that had foil on them. The model was like a separate gift for him. He immediately built it and it was simple enough for him to do it alone(age 8). It created a very real world of dragons for him.

If you are looking for a classy book and/or a great gift for your dragon lovers, then look no further for this is a great book at a great value. My big kid (my husband) loved it too!
