Good Book 5 out of 5 stars.

The knights find a tomb in a cematary with strange carvings. Then Kellach gives Zendric some wizard stones and discovers he lost his memory. They go to the House of the Dead to find out who made Zendric lose his memory, and have to fight ghouls there and mummies at the cematary. It was exciting, especially at the end when they are trapped in the cematary.

Editorial Review:

It's Zendric's 500th birthday! But with one bite of birthday cake, Zendric's memory completely vanishes, along with all his powers. The search for an antidote to the poisoned cake leads Moyra, Kellach, and Driskoll to the Wee Jas cemetery. The mummies, ghasts, and ghouls that haunt the place can't scare away the Knights of the Silver Dragon. But are the Knights prepared for what they'll find inside the wizard's tomb?

Excellent young adult fiction in the world of Dragonlance! 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

When I picked up this novel, I had fairly low expectations: I've long viewed the Dragonlance series as too eternal, fluffy and otherwise unengaging to be worth my time. A friend recommended Jeff Sampson's work in the Dragonlance universe to me and I typically trust her judgement.

I wasn't disappointed.

Although older readers like myself will find the story briefer and less involved than we're used to, the Wayward Wizard works well for its intended audience. The characters, especially the main, are much more interesting than the average cookie-cutter fantasy drivel that gets passed off as "young adult" fantasy.

Pick the book up. You won't be disappointed.

The Trinistyr
Ancient holy relic
Cursed symbol of power
Key to Nearra’s future . . . or her destruction

An antique map reveals yet another family secret: Nearra must relive the suffering of two more of the wizards betrayed by her ancestor, or her family’s magic and the healing power of the Trinistyr will never be restored.

Undeterred, Nearra, Jirah, and their friends continue their mission, arriving at the once great city of Tarsis. But they do not journey alone. Two elf mages watch them from afar, while a dark cleric follows their every move. Betrayals come to light. New powers arise. And a startling revelation threatens to destroy Nearra, once and for all.

Mildly interesting 3 out of 5 stars.

This series of books will appeal to a very limited age group. I'd say 4th, 5th grade...but once the Harry Potter books were being read in our house these became really silly and rather annoying. They go on and on and nothing ever gets resolved. You finally get to the end of one book and lo and behold a new crisis arises and main characters are dropping like flies. I was reading these books to my son every night before bed, but eventually both of us were sick of them. We just didn't care anymore. But to be fair, we did read about seven of the books, hoping for some conclusion. (Which by the way are written by many different authors)

I loved this Book! 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I loved this book because it has humor, adventure and it is very interesting. The character Keene, is funny and is always getting into trouble. Not only is this book funny and in some parts, realistic, but also includes fantasy, magic, battle scenes and friendship. I really enjoyed the book. It is a great book for middle-school kids such as myself, and adults too. Some more parts I enjoyed were when there were battle scenes that included bows and arrows, elven swords, dragons and even a few ogres. I think that kids would want to stay up late reading this book. I did. Order this book, and I know you'll enjoy this fantasy filled story, just like I did.

Definitely an improvement over first book 3 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

First off, I usually buy these series all at once. I know its not the best strategy if you don't like the first book (which is what happened here), but I figure they're not that expensive and sometimes they get better as you go along. And this is certainly the case here. Queen involves some classic characters like Dalamar and the council of mages in Palanthas, which is a nice tie in. In this volume, our venturing band (consisting of three mages, a couple clerics, and of course a kender) go in search of the second elemental pillar of water. The plot moves along and the mystery begins to thicken somewhat in this book as the band of adventurers go underwater. I think the characters start to fit a little more into their personalities here.

super good read for all ages and anyone who is a fan of Dragonlance

One More Great Fantasy Book 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Being the second one in the series, I had my doubts about this book.
The first opened so well with so many characters being introduced and being made interesting. This one did not disappoint. I read it in two days and the villain is one of the most evil I've seen. Sampson does a good job of handling a main hero that is a kender. I've read bad kender books (Kendermore) and this is not a worry.

One of the best points in the book is the underground maze and the main hero Tayt. SHe shone in this book as a spellflich and I cannot wait until the next read.

Overall, great second venture into the world of Dragonlance.

Sindri Suncatcher is back in this thrilling conclusion to the Suncatcher Trilogy!

Sindri has defeated the evil wizard Anica, but the conflict is far from over. Old foes endanger Sindri's home village in Kendermore, while old friends add confusion to an already frenzied situation. And in the midst of all the chaos, Sindri must make the hardest choice of his life.

Jeff Sampson's final book in the Suncatcher Trilogy shows the power of friendship -- and learning which friends you can trust.
