Brilliant Full Page Illustrations, Superb Movie Adaptation 5 out of 5 stars.

"Care Bears Big Wish Movie" is the newest CGI "Care Bears" film and this book is the official picture book adapation of the movie. It's a wonderful book from beginning to end, a good story for parents to read to their children and for the children to admire the sweet illustrations.
The coloring choices used in the book have a very soft, yet also bright feel to them. Each page is 100% illustrated. Being a 40 page adaptation written for young audiences, there's obviously a lot of stuff from the film that didn't make into the book. But though a few things are changed and much is cut, the main essence of the story is there.
What a great story it is, too. Wish Bear found her friend Twinkers when she was just a little cub. Lately, she's been using Twinkers power a lot to try to help her Care Bear friends with their problems. However, all of her wishes seem to be going wrong and end up creating more problems than they solve. When it's announced at a Care-a-Lot Meeting that there's not enough caring in Care-a-Lot, Wish Bear suggests that she could wish for more. But when her friends tell her that her wishes are going wrong, she wishes for some new friends. These three new friends, Too Loud Bear, Me Bear and Messy Bear send Care-a-Lot on a wild ride.
If you or your kids loved "Big Wish Movie" then the book is definitely recommended. If you haven't yet seen it, take a look, or read this book and see what you think.
