The Good: different. The Bad: most too easy 3 out of 5 stars.

The concept of Circular Sudoku is interesting. And it does require you to approach the puzzles in a different way than regular Sudoku, which is a good thing. However, the puzzles are easy. The 1st two sections are particularly easy. The 3rd (and last) section is more at a 'medium' level.

I love this Sudoku book. It combines two of my favorite things, Sudoku and Peanuts. It is my favorite cartoon of all time. The first section is very easy, but the next section is more challenging. It is nice to do the first ones, because they are almost brainless compared to the harder ones. So, this is good for first time Sudoku players, and ones with experience.

This is a great sudoku book as far as "bang for your buck" goes, especially for more advanced sudoku-ers, who may find themselves completely skipping the "easy" or "medium" puzzles in mixed-level sudoku books. The puzzles here aren't impossible, but they are relatively tough, which is nice! Because of the degree of difficulty, this book will take most puzzlers quite a while to work all the way through, again making it good bang for your buck.

From what I understand, all mistakes have been fixed and the book is now in perfect puzzle condition, just make sure you get the second edition (which you will if you buy it at Amazon.... if you pick it up at a bookstore, double-check.).

This book contains 200 difficult Sudoku puzzles, including solutions and clues. All of the puzzles in this book are made by hand and carefully tested to make sure they are difficult but not impossibly so. You should be able to solve one of the puzzles in under 30 minutes. That means this book can keep you occupied for up to 100 hours! The book also includes a few examples on how to solve Sudoku puzzles to get you started in case you've bought this book without ever having solved a Sudoku before. If that is the case, the clues may also be of help. However, this book is intended for the reasonably experienced Sudoku player.

This is a very error-free collection that really increased my skills at Sudoku. Difficult, but not impossible. I would now trust any sudoku collection in the "Will Shortz" catalogue.

I love Will Shortz sudoku puzzles. I bought this book in hopes that it wouldn't be too easy or too difficult. In general, most of the book's puzzles are of moderate difficulty, however, I have found that there are quite a few puzzles that are pretty hard and even demanding. Every now and then I find a really easy one or two. In general - a good buy.

The book delivers the goods. Ocassionally they throw in a puzzle that is harder than the rest.

When I bought this "Extreme Sudoku" I loved it so much, I finished quickly and bought another one. The 16 x 16 is challenging and fun, and I love the quality of the paper, white and smooth in texture so it's easy to write and erase.

This is a really fun book, however you need to take into consideration the age appropiate level. Don't hope that a younger child will "Catch on". The puzzels increase with difficulty. My 8 year old Granddaughter loves Sudodu.
