An extremely valuable multi purpose book. This book is widely used for subjects like qualitative methods and sociology etc. Mcneill is very specfic in the details of research methods yet it covers a wide scope of resaerch methods. I have yet to have a better book on researh methods. I would recommend this book for students, civil workers as well as those who are self employed and would like to know how to improve on their business. It is too a great book for those who would like to start a new business.
Editorial Review:
Written for the non-specialist, Research Methods provides a concise, yet thorough guide to all the central issues of social research methods. Each method discussed is followed by suggested activities which provide some practical experience of social research, aiming to stimulate a genuinely critical response to published studies.
