Fairly decent guide book, but somewhat overpriced for a paperback. The inclusion of logos from some establishments makes me wonder if their reviews have been skewed by a monetary inducement to the author... Also, I can't believe a Cape Cod guide book that doesn't include a reference to Cuffy's factory store!

Everything you never knew about NYC 5 out of 5 stars.

This is the best book on/about NYC, for Virgos anyway. If you can appreciate a step by step approach to getting to know NYC then this is the book for you. It goes through all the neighborhoods, shows you buildings, historical sites, shopping, trains, restaurants, quirks, whatever! I've lived in the NYC region all my life and discovered things about NYC I never knew existed!

I have used this series of books for a few different cities and it is my favorite travel book. It is well organized, easy to read, gives great walking tours and information on every section of the city. I love it and have bought it as gifts or loaned our copy (reluctantly) to others.
