Both my son and my daugther LOVED this book from the age of 6 months on. It keeps them in rapt attention, and my daugther loves to "knock" on the door.

Fantastic 5 out of 5 stars.

If your child loves Maisy, they will love this book! My 20 month old never tires of "looking" for Maisy under the flaps and will sit for 15-20 minutes at a time "reading" this. Even her older sister enjoys it!

My daughter's favorite book since she is 11 months old 5 out of 5 stars.

My daughter is now 17 months old, ever since she started being interested in books (as early as 11 months) she has always loved this one. She gets more and more excited as we get closer to the end and she loves looking behind the door. I noticed all the little kids at the daycare also just stopped whatever they were doing when I read this book to them once. The best 'Peek-a-boo' type book we've seen.

Editorial Review:

Maisy mavens will love to look for her in WHERE IS MAISY?, a happy lift-the-flap board book adventure from award-winning author-illustrator Lucy Cousins.

If your child loves Maisy books as much as mine does, definitely add this one to your collection! Not only are the pictures colorful and inviting, but it also makes going to the doctor seem fun and exciting! Plus, it's always great to see Maisy and her friends playing different roles and doing fun things! Each page brings delight to my child's eyes!

Great book 5 out of 5 stars.

My 2-year-old daughter loves Maisy books, and this one is another great hit with her. She is now not afraid of the doctor after reading this book! Very cute.

Too simple, no substance 2 out of 5 stars.
1 of 13 people found this review helpful.

I was disappointed and am reconsidering ever buying books online again! You can't really see what you are getting, and this is just too simple to be useful.

A sweet way to make doctors less scary 5 out of 5 stars.

It took me a while to warm to Maisy -- both the drawings and the language are incredibly simple -- but every kid I know just loves these books. I got this as part of a group of toys and books to prepare my son for his 2-year check-up, and while it may not be the most "informative," per se, it is certainly the one he likes best.

Spring Cleaning at Maisy's 3 out of 5 stars.
4 of 5 people found this review helpful.

If you are the parent of a young child, you probably know who Maisy is. She's a mouse with a duck, a squirrel, an elephant, and a crocodile for friends. Why the crocodile isn't trying to eat the others is beyond me, but that's life in Maisy's world.

Both of my daughters love the Maisy books; there's something about their simple stories and colorful pictures that even appeals to adults. The books are short and easy to read. But, the stories are never obnoxiously simplistic, like so many other books for small children.

However, this is one of my daughters' least favorite Maisy books. Perhaps because they aren't too keen on cleaning up themselves (what two year old and four year old are?). Anyway, Maisy is cleaning her house when she gets some help from a surprise visitor. Who could it be? Hey, read the book if the suspense is killing you.

Editorial Review:

For Maisy, even cleaning up can be fun - if you have a friend stop by to help. In MAISY CLEANS UP, Charley smells something delicious in Maisy’s kitchen but has to wait until the floor is dry. Time passes more quickly when he pitches in to pick up some toys, and washing the windows is a cinch with Charley inside and Maisy out. Now the floor is finally dry, and there are the treats, all ready to eat. Good job! A story for parents to love as much as kids!

We love Maisy 5 out of 5 stars.

My almost-three-year-old has loved Maisy since she was an infant. This book is great because it goes through the steps
of what a little one needs to do before she goes to bed.

Simple, straight and good story for young child 5 out of 5 stars.

I got this book, in fact, a gift set when my first-born was 11 months old. She is a year now and my husband reads this to her every evening before her bed time in both language - English and Mandarin, while she is holding the Maisy in her hands.
I don't think she quite understands what this story is about, but it's the color, the texture of feeling a book that matters, and I believe strongly that to get her interested in books the earlier of her life the better.

She carries the Maisy toy to bed and falls asleep. I just wish I could find a bigger size of Maisy toy to let her hold on to.

In short, this is a good book, I am planning to get the rest of them, if you can find a gift set with Maisy toy, get it.

Editorial Review:

Maisy's fun and familiar world reflects favorite TV episodes—and the lively adventures young children have every day.

One of four adventures familiar to children who watch Maisy on TV, in MAISY'S BEDTIME, Maisy and her friends get ready for bed. As always, toddlers, preschoolers, and parents will find the ordinary extraordinary with Maisy!

Editorial Review:

It's one of those unwritten laws of life: run a bath, and the doorbell rings. For Maisy the mouse, bathtime looks like it may never happen. She runs the water, puts in some bubbles, drops in her rubber ducky, and... "Ding, Dong!" Maisy's friend Tallulah the duck is at the door, tennis racket in wing, wanting to play. Maisy asks her to come back later. But as soon as Maisy undresses and pops in her bubbly bath, the doorbell rings for a second time. It's Tallulah, coming to play again! And this time, it looks like Tallulah has a sure-fire plan to guarantee playtime with her friend. Soon, both Maisy and Tallulah are splashing and playing in the bath together.

Maisy is a big favorite among young readers everywhere. Lucy Cousins's sweet stories of this endearing mouse and her friends celebrate the simple pleasures of life: Maisy Goes to Bed and Happy Birthday Maisy. Thick black lettering and boldly outlined, brightly colored illustrations make this a tremendously appealing tale for early readers. (Baby to preschool) --Emilie Coulter

Great toddler book 5 out of 5 stars.
15 of 15 people found this review helpful.

In this book Maisy and Charley go grocery shopping. My two year old loves grocery shopping and is fascinated by the book. We read it over and over and over. Actually it is great for me too, because I use it to talk about what kind of foods we can buy at the grocery store. Maisy and Charley buy apples, bananas, yogurt, bread etc... It is a good opportunity to get in a plug for nutritious foods.

Maisy at the Grocery Store 3 out of 5 stars.

Maisy visits Charlie only to find his cupboards are bare, so its off to the grocery store. For reasons known only to them, my children aren't real wild about this Maisy book. Still, like all Maisy books, they liked it the first time around; maybe we've just read this one too many times.

Editorial Review:

More for Maisy fans! A new storybook based on Maisy’s hit TV series is here, just in time for the crazy-for-Maisy preschoolers who have been clamoring for more. In MAISY GOES SHOPPING, Charley and our favorite mouse make a trip to the grocery store to buy lots of goodies for lunch. Wherever they go and whatever they do, Lucy Cousins’s lovable characters are a delight.

Maisy the colourful mouse 4 out of 5 stars.
8 of 9 people found this review helpful.

These Maisy books are so colourful and have very simple pictures that are great for my 16 month old. It also has really bold brilliant colours to help toddlers learn their colours!

Editorial Review:

"Who's that hiding under the table?" Maisy and her friends are playing hide-and-seek. Share in Maisy's delight as she finds Charlie the crocodile (in plaid Bermuda shorts!) under the bed, Cyril the squirrel behind the shower curtain, and Eddie the elephant squeezed into the closet. Each big, easy-to-grip flap lifts to reveal another hidden friend. Fans of funny little Maisy mouse will love this simple interactive board book based on every preschooler's favorite game. As in Lucy Cousins's many other picture books, the bold, bright illustrations are outlined in heavy black, framed cleanly in white. The repetitive text ("Who's that hiding...?") will appeal to early readers as they begin to match the words to the pictures. Seek out all the rest of the absolutely charming Maisy books, including Maisy Takes a Bath, Maisy Goes to School, and Maisy Goes Swimming. (Baby to preschool) --Emilie Coulter

Look mummy! 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

This is one of my 2 year old's favourite books. The charming illustrations of objects are grouped in familiar categories so that toddlers can relate the images to their everyday lives. Not only is this book entertaining, but it helps to broaden a toddler's vocabulary quickly. My child delights in showing me how many pictures he recognises - "look mummy there's a....".

Lots of color and smiles and big, black lines... it's MAISY! 5 out of 5 stars.

Another fun, colorful Maisy book. This volume is an oversized word primer, filled with about 300 words and illustrations (and a bunch of flaps to open, too!) all in Ms. Cousins' bright, blocky style. The words are organized by theme -- on the farm, at the park, etc. -- and while there's nothing really in the plot department, it's as eyecatching as all Maisy books, and sure to enthrall the littlest readers.
