We like the Mercer Mayer books but this one was a little dull. My daughter much prefers the Sesame St potty traing book with Ernie... I think it is called Too Big For Diapers.
Good for getting ready to potty train 4 out of 5 stars.

My two year old son enjoyed reading this book, it has kept his attention. It has helped him learn about potty basics. He gets the concept but still isn't that ready to be a willing participant in the potty process. It is a fun book for us to read together.
potty training books for kids 5 out of 5 stars.

If you like the Little Critter series and you are currently potty training then this is the book for you. As usual Mercer Mayer deals with a subject in a humorous and fun way that kids will enjoy.
Great book for a toddler 5 out of 5 stars.

My 2 1/2 year old loves these books by Mercer Mayer. Her first book was the I Was So Mad (Look-Look) book and we had to read it every night and she slept with it. I bought this book and several others by Mercer Mayer and she loves them just as much. They are nice because they are affordable and in paperback which makes them easy to bring along on trips. They also all seem to have simple, fun, and easy to understand messages for a toddler and they touch upon the different feelings and experiences a toddler is going through. She also loves the The New Baby book which was great for when her little sister joined the family.
Editorial Review:
Little Critter sure knows how to be a good big brother! He even helps his little sister learn how to use the new potty.
