A must read for all woman. 4 out of 5 stars.

Having read Stephen Arterburn's book, Every Man's Battle, I thought I would read this book to see what I could learn from it.

As for the men, you will probably not learn anything more out of this book if you have already ready Every Man's Battle. And for women, all I can say is wow, all women should be given this book at a young age to read.

This book can help one understand the what and why's of what is happening when it comes to sexual and emotional fulfillment in relationships, and what can be done to deal with it.

Yes, I somewhat agree with the other reviewers that complain about the book not talking enough about woman who have as strong a sex drive as men, but I don't think it was right for them to rate this book so low for that one point.

I highly recommend all woman buy it, and also make sure your Church library has one.

I enjoyed this book. The author uses scripture references to describe the spiritual battles behind Jezebel, Athaliah, and Delilah. Exposing these demonic influences will enable the believer to effectively engage in spiritual warfare against the enemy with the Word of God as his or her sword. The devil hates light that exposes darkness and ignorance is one of the greatest weapons against the body of Christ. This is a book that I will treasure and refer to again in years to come. A must for any Christian library.

Very good book that refutes the errors of evangelical feminism 5 out of 5 stars.

Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is a much needed response to the 20 and 21st century evangelical church disregarding the clear commands of Scripture. It seems as though a whole cottage industry of Evangelical feminist publications has been established to try to argue against what the Bible so clearly states - that God created both men and women in His own image(so that they both have worth and equal value), BUT He also created them different and with different roles to complement each other and in the home and in the church God established that men should lovingly lead. God's created order is a good order, the feminism of our day has distorted that order, but God's command and order stands true in every generation, men are to lead in the family and men are to lead and teach in the assembled church (woman are not prohibited from teaching children or other woman). This book provides a good vision and defense of, what on the face of it, to most Bible readers is clear and a scholarly refutation of those who deny this order.

This book is about:

How to gain freedom from all the lies you've been told about your sexuality.

And since author Lisa Bevere is very well able to speak for herself, I will let her:

I love this book! Elizabeth George does a great job of teaching how to love God. Here's a quote from the book: "We need to sail on as we look ahead and reach forward toward spiritual maturity and the goal of loving God with all our mind. As we focus on God, He will guide our steps, empower our service to Him, and work in us the characteristics of Christ as He enables us to both meet the demands of the present and press on toward the prize. This is a great book and it has study questions in the back for each chapter.

I wanted a devotional book that I could read every morning that would take approx 10 mins of my time with another 5 mins for reflection on what I just read. This book is ment to be read in 90 days based on Donnas day by day format. It is exactly what I was looking for. Donna is full of inspiration and guidance while applying scripture to every day life. I looked forward to every morning excited to read what Donna would have to say! This is a great read for any woman in her journey with god and in life.

This book is amazing - it is practical and Scriptural. It focuses on the heart issues behind several major sin-related problems of today. This book demonstrates that our biggest problem is sin and it identifies the root of such things as overeating/bulimia, additions, and sexual sins for what they really are, selfishness, unbelief and greed. This book gives hope and practical advice so that we can overcome these things with the power of God! I highly recommend it!

This is a great resource if you are in a position of counseling women, or even if you're not. I like the way it's categorized by different situations. I would recommend this to any woman. If you're like me, you'll find yourself using it to counsel your own heart.
