From a woman's point of view I know that every man needs to read this book. Allow God to be first in your life. Love yourself enough to know that you can't do it alone. God is the only one who can heal the pain of the past and allow you to live today. God is good. Finally, the truth has been told. Get God and Get Ready.

I shared this book with a couple of friends this past Christmas. It was my way of spreading the Gospel and telling them that it does pay to serve a true living God. Before giving it as a gift, I read it and it said all the things women want men to know about who they should be as men in Christ. The one message that resonates is that you must be in the place where your blessings are to receive them. God is waiting on men to come to that place, the blessing is already there. Bless Bishop Jakes for that insight.

I found this Bible quite by accident in a tiny bookstore at the beginning of the most challenging period of my life. I was searching for healing and the thoughts within these pages truly added to the healing I experienced from God's word.

I recommend this Bible to all of my beautiful sisters everywhere.

I had received this as a "gift" from my cousin. This had helped me to "heal" from a major crisis in my life. When I was healed and able to carry on, I forwarded to a co-worker that also had a major crisis in her life. She then passed it on and so on. When my cousin died, I tracked the original one that I had from my cousin so that I could have something that she cherised, now that she was "gone". I then proceeded to order 2 from amazon.com and have since shared them with people in my life that have a hurt or a need. You to will get what you need from the Word of God, when you order His Word.

This book was great. It was a quick read for me, as I could not put it down. The story was so good you don't want to stop reading. Great book. If you are looking for something to read that is inspirational and entertaining, get this book.

This book was very slow and boring. Hard to read. I had to make myself finish it hoping that it would pick up the pace alittle, which it did in the middle but died out. I was looking for much more. Very disappointed because TD Jakes is a great writer. Borrow the book first before you buy it.

This book has helped me to focus my attention on me instead of the issues at work which are beyond my control. If you're in a job that seems stressful and you need some encouragement, this book is for you. You can choose to be happy at work or you can choose to be miserable. This book clearly let's you see which choice is in your best interest! You can be peaceful at work regardless to your work circumstance if you choose to. This book was worth reading and sharing with other people that I work with.

This book was very helpful and practical in dealing with uncomfortable work environments in a Christian manner. It gave specific examples of ways to deal with difficult situations, using scriptural principles based on the life of King David.

I really enjoyed the power of this book. When I first started reading it, I thought I was listening to Dr. Phil. I did not enjoy that part ( role playing) in the beginning. Then I sat back and thought about how we are different in situations. Everyone attacks there alter ego by using either strength or weakness. But when we reposition ourself, we remain stable, strong, directioned and empowered. I gave the book to my son, so he could enjoy it.
