The message in this book is what I want my grandkids to hear . I will be reading this book to all three of mine . I think we will have good conversations about trusting .

We also read A Brush with Darkness and felt this too is an inspirational book and ideal for an open discussion for children. This is a great book about boundries, about our ultimate purpose in life, about friendship and change. A marvelous artist tells a story that should be a lesson to all of us.

This is a heartwarming story of C.J. whose spirit blossoms as she learns the values of friendship, forgiveness, and cooperation. The discussion questions following the story were stimulating and easily facilitate conversations with children. This is a good read for both children and adults.
