I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about this book, based on the title; yet intrigued at the same time ("What in the world is this book about?!?", I thought). I was very pleased to find out that it is filled to the brim with bite-sized pieces of knowledge, helpful guidance and wise advice that anyone in a leadership role within a ministry setting could benefit from. A long list of trusted authors provides tremendous insight on how to improve your leadership skills.

Every parent needs to read this book! My wife and I have a two-year-old and have learned so much about how to raise our son on solid principles that work. And at the same time keep our marriage a priority in the home. Ed Young's words are right on the mark: children have taken over the home and parents have let them. Giving kids everything they want is not giving them the best in life. Among his practical advice is a challenge for every parent to have a regular date night with their spouse and to keep a set bedtime for their kids. If parents just did those two things, it would revolutionize families today.

I couldn't read the whole thing. It was more funny than inspiring. This is for HARDCORE Christians who believe that God is the only reason to live. It actually says that without God there would be no reason to live and we would have no purpose other than to enjoy earthly pleasures. Kind of scary. Don't buy this book. Go to the library if you can't resist.

This book carries on with the main driven purpose book and has many meaningful scriptures specifically for the graduate. I read several short verses when things are going bad at school and also when things are going very good in school. This book is about praising God and helpful advise on living a driven purpose life for God while in school.

Despite what you may read, this, like all Warren's works, is theologically sound--it just may be too fundamentally Christian for many readers. The fault is not in the book.

As a book for graduates, this ranks right up there with "The Mizraim Principles" in what it can offer. Gee, I wish someone had given me these two books when I graduated...
