No parent OR special education teacher should be without this book! Easy to read, and the content is excellent! Step-by-step approaches to teaching everyday skills to children with special needs, but would be just as valuable to ANY parent! After reading this book, I have found it easier to establish goals for my students and everyone is using the same approach to teaching everyday living skills (play, toileting, self-help, PLUS behavior management)! It is working fabulous! The students are learning more with less frustration! A must-have for your resource library!

Compelling and original arguments and a fresh analysis of America's black & white race relations 5 out of 5 stars.

I just finished this book, A Simple Justice, and it is fantastic. It's the story of Brown vs. The Board of Education of Topeka, which is the landmark Supreme Court case that desegregated compulsory public schools in America. But it's so much more than that. After reading this book, I felt almost ashamed of my previous ignorance to the struggles and condition of black america at the hands of almost everyone else in the country. It is comprehensive in its scope and perspicacious in its analysis, sparing no feelings on either (or rather, any) side. I believe myself to be, for the most part, a judicious man when it comes to philosophical or sociological observations, but Kluger was able to open my eyes to angles I had previously missed on issues I thought I had resolved long ago. So if you're not too scared of big books, this one's worth the time.

The tests and questions in this book are a good study and practice guide. However, my exam book came with the wrong answer pages in the back so checking my answers has become extremely difficult.

This small book is the source for the rules for doing major electrical work. It's a reference book, and should be used that way. Some of the numbering may be a little confusing in the beginning, but the book grows on you as you use it.

A contractor needs three basic things to be successful in business: an accountant, a calendar, and this book. Completely revised and updated, the advice in Smart Business for Contractors all but insures a contractor's increased efficiency and profitability.

Kramon, aveteran contractor's attorney, walks his readers through details big and small that make the difference between contractors who have more work than they can do yet barely make ends meet and contractors who work at a manageable pace, keep up-to-date records, and turn a profit job after job, year after year. Covering the spectrum of a contractor's career, Smart Business for Contractors includes new detailed information on what a contractor can expect in his first year in business and updated information on tools every contractor needs to plan intelligently for retirement (yes, a contractor needs to begin planning for retirement during his first year in the business!). This textbook provides the future health career student with basic entry-level knowledge required for their chosen profession. It contains twenty-two units ranging from Anatomy and Physiology to Business and Accounting Skills. These units are divided into two parts: Basic Health Care Concepts and Skills, and Special Health Care Skills. Each unit provides objectives and key terms that will be learned from that unit. Each section or chapter is well written with valuable information and helpful procedure hints. This book also contains a glossary to help with confusing terms, appendices including extra helpful information, and an index and table of contents for convenient reading. I highly recommend this particular textbook, I feel it is very informative and helpful towards my future career as a neurosurgeon.

A great read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It answers many of the questions I always wondered about the game of golf. The book is written for a general audience, not lawyers, but will provide invaluable stories to repeat at the 19th hole. Few golfers will ever walk onto a golf course again without being reminded of the legalities of the game if they read this book.
The literary device the author uses to make this book so readable is a collection of nineteen actual legal court cases crafted into nineteen short stories presented in a style that O'Henry would have enjoyed. These cases track the 18 holes typically played in a "stipulated round" of golf, and a story for the favorite "hole 19" of all golfers. I ordered four more copies for my family of golfers. A great Christmas gift. Howard Graham

The IBC is the long-time-coming consolidation of the three major building codes in the US and there is nothing "international" about it. Back in the 70's the 3 code organizations formed BOCA and put out a 1 & 2 family dwelling code. The 3 members them gradually made changes to the individual building codes that brought them into similar formats, then they combined them into one code in 2000, the IBC, and modified the dwelling code to be the IRC (Int. Residential Code)and changed the organization's name to the ICC, the Int. Code Council. There little to review about the content since it is either the law in your area or it is not. For comparisons to previous codes and other information try the ICC's website http://www.iccsafe.org/
