And the award for the worst wife goes to 4 out of 5 stars.

Jessica Wakefield (McAllery whatever)! Poor Mike begin stuck married to a witch like that! Why does she never take any resposiblity for her actions? It's pretty obvious that after the big fight in the previous book she only has two choices either to leave him which is obviously hard to do but definately not impossible since Liz gives her that option right at the beginning or she tells her parents and takes her marriage seriously. But oh no she can't do either of them she just goes on lying and scheming to her husband. I don't think the author writes the character of Mike particularly well she obviously expects the reader to hate him but gives them no reason to do so. He's suppose to be a drunk yet through out the whole story line there are only two scene where he is actually drunk. The twist in Mike's character from ealier books is rather unbelievable and obviously just done by the author after she suddenly remebers that Jessica is not suppose to have a boyfriend for too long.

Editorial Review:

While Jessica Wakefield copes with her new husband's troubling ways, Elizabeth Wakefield tracks an evil secret society that attacked her friend Nina Harper, and Todd Wilkins finds himself caught up in a nightmarish athletics scandal.

This was a great book 5 out of 5 stars.
5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

I liked this book, it wasn't boring and it continues what was left off in "What Your Parents Don't Know" I just wish that ELizabeth and Tom could at least find out that one of them have feelings for the other because it's beginning to get irratating that they always get jealous of one another when they are with another person or when they get interuppted by someone when one of them are finally going to confess that he likes her and vice versa.

Great book!!!! 5 out of 5 stars.

This book was great! This is one of my favorite Sweet Valley University books. Jessica Wakefield and Michael McAllery get married, but Jessica's too scared to tell anyone. Elizabeth Wakefield loves Tom Watts, but WIlliam White loves her. Nina Harper suffered an attack along with Bryan Nelson. But will she ever get close to him? Isabella Ricci wants Danny Wyatt to help her get closer to Tom Watts, but they end up getting closerto eachother. Todd Wilkins is starting to realize that Lauren Hill isn't as wonderful as he thought she was, plus he's going through some hard times due to the scandal. This book is great!

Editorial Review:

As Jessica Wakefield learns that living with Mike McAllery does not solve the problems in their relationship, her sister Elizabeth finds herself torn between the mysterious Tom Watts and the romantic William White.

A new beginning . . . 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

First Jessica and Mike break up their marriage after a disaterous accident, and Mike is left paralyzed. Then Lila's husband is killed in a boating accident, and Lila returns to Sweet Valley. And Elizabeth is madly in love with Tom, but Todd wants her back in his life. Winston and Denise are having problems, and so are Steven and Billie. Will everything turn out all right for the SVU crew? Read it to find out!

No, sometimes love just "ain't" enough... 4 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Love wasn't enough to hold Mike and Jess together. Good thing they split; they would have ended up MISERABLE! I think Jessica needs to really prove she's an adult by taking responsibility for her life and planning a career instead of chasing after guys. Maybe she and Melanie Edwards from the "Fabulous Five" series could use some lessons from Liz and Nina! Poor Lila ends up married and widowed at such a young age. I'm not sure thier marriage was all that; it was just described as an unrealistic cloud 9 romance. I think LIz should have stayed single for a while; why is the author eager to pair her up with a steady boyfriend?

Editorial Review:

Jessica's ended marriage makes her wonder if she can resume a normal life, while Elizabeth's romance with Tom is threatened by eerie notes she thinks are coming from Todd, and Lila finds herself in a battle of wills with the arrogant Bruce.

one question: 4 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

How come the summer's events were never metioned in this book? Did they just forget that Liz cheated on Tom with Ryan? And that Jessica was going to visit Ben Mercer all the time? What about Nina Harper's guy, huh? I think that they should of metioned the summer to get in some controversery in this otherwise kinda dull book. (Busted's ten times more exicting.) It would be so cool if Ben Mercer just showed up at SVU to make trouble in Nick's and Jess's realtionship.

Editorial Review:

Secrets can be dangerous . . .

Jessica Wakefield has hooked up with the perfect guy. Nick Fox is sexy, smart, and dangerous. And just like her, he lives for excitement. Jessica knows Nick has secrets to spare--and she's determined to find out every last one!

Elizabeth Wakefield is worried about her boyfriend, Tom Watts. His twenty-first birthday is just a few days away, and he's depressed that he doesn't have a family to help him celebrate. Elizabeth's sure the surprise party she's planning will cheer him up--but will her gift be more than he can handle?

Celine Boudreaux is back at SVU and determined to make a splash with the most exclusive sorority on campus. Celine will do anything to get into Thetas--even if it's illegal . . .

THIS IS SO SAD...BUT PART 3 IS EVEN MORE SAD! 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

THE OTHER WOMAN is actually better than BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, partly because in this book, Jessica and Professor Louis Miles finally discovers they need each other and tension is really heating up between the two of them. I really loved this book because it is just so moving and emotional that you cannot do anything else but read this book.

Todd and Elizabeth are still investigating some problems with why Todd was kicked off the basketball team. Winston gets busted cheating on that physics exam and his parents end up telling him that they are going to send him to Boot Camp to try and shape up and start acting responsible and everything. Tom is still away in Las Vegas doing his reporting thing. Lila and Bruce decide to move in and live together! Also, at the end, Jessica meets her worst enemy (and Professor Louis Miles's biggest fear): His crazy, insane wife, Chloe who warns Jessica to stay away from her husband.

In this thrilling passionate novel, you will read all about what a true love affair really is like. Jessica and Louis's passionate love affair is so bittersweet and will have you bawling at the ending. But part three in this saga is even more tradgic and sad...DEADLY ATTRACTION. Read all three parts of this exciting saga!

Editorial Review:

Jessica is unable to resist her feelings for handsome professor Louis Miles, while Elizabeth and Todd work to expose administration corruption, and Lila and Bruce move in together despite family disapproval.

Much to "adult" 2 out of 5 stars.
5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

I used to love the SVH series, it was semi realistic. Not SVU, because everyone wants to sleep with each other, have affairs, and poor old Jess, she's basically the best charecter in the book, and every time she gets a guy it ends up in divorce or death. As for the girl who said "WE'RE PRETEENS! NOT KIDS!" Well, I'm sorry, but I am twelve- and I strongly feel these books have much to much adult content, and basically, I doubt any ten year old would understand concepts of these books, seems they probably dont even understand what is going on with all the you-know-what and bitter divorces. Personally I think these are for a much older age group then the young teens or preteens, I mean lets take a rundown of events that have happened lately-
1. Elizabeth kissed a guy who had a girlfriend at the end.
2. Elizabeth and Tom had a fight because Elizabeth didnt think she was ready for the "next stage of the relationship" and he went to a bar without absolute PIGS. And Liz fell in love with this guy?
3. Jessica's boyfriend was SHOT
4. Isabella (?) lost her memory after smoking with a guy when she had a boyfriend!
OK those are the first ones I think of... honestly Francine and Laurie (?) these books are stuck in a rut. They need some reality! Sorry but I was quite upset that my fave charecters were turning into a bunch of teens that would take any guy that got thrown at them!

Editorial Review:

New year.  New friends.  New life.

Jessica and Elizabeth move out of the dorm...and move in with Sam and Neil.

Dana's ready to take the plunge...but Todd's getting cold feet.

Tom wants his old like back...Chloe just wants Tom.

Nina hates change...but things will never be the same again.

Good... 5 out of 5 stars.

I really love this series, and especially the rivalry between Jess and Alison. I really hope that Alison gets her comuppance at some point in the series. I thought that Lila and Bruce were so cute together. The one thing that puzzles me about this book is the cover. Is it just me, or is the writing on the sweater that 'Jessica' is wearing, back-to-front?

Editorial Review:

While Jessica tries to find a way back into the prestigious Theta sorority, Lila Fowler and her nemesis Bruce Patman are stranded in the Sierra Nevada mountains and Elizabeth enlists the help of Professor Martin to get her sister out of trouble.

Liz & Todd....did they have to break up? 3 out of 5 stars.
1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

First of all, I really liked this book. It was very emotional and reminded me of the changes I've gone through in the past few years since entering college. Elizabeth went through hell through the arms of abandonment. I felt really sorry for her, considering she is my favorite SV character. The only thing about this book that turned me off is Liz & Todd's breakup. I think they are the cutest couple, and they've been together forever. They are soul mates. I just wish Liz and Todd never broke up...I don't really like Tom Watts; Liz deserves someone much better than him. I hope Todd & Liz get back together later in the series. "Elizabeth & Todd Forever" is a very touching book as well...it just proves they are soul mates.

Editorial Review:

Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield are about to begin the most exciting year of their lives....

Jessica has everything she's dreamed of: freedom, independence, and all the guys on campus-except the one she wants.

Elizabeth hopes college will be just like high school-only better!  Her longtime boyfriend, Todd Wilkins, wants their love to go further. Can their relationship survive freshman year?

Enid Rollins, Elizabeth's high-school best friend, is glamorous Alexandra now: party girl, sorority pledge and no friend of Elizabeth's.

Winston Egbert vows to be taken seriously at college.  But he's been registered as "Winnie" and put in an all-female dorm!
