I got this book from the library the other day. I loved it so much that I am ordering it for my children. The book is full of colorful illustrations. Each page introduces a new color. The story is delightful. After only reading it a couple of times, my son who has been slow with his colors, is now pointing out these colors all over the house. I recommend this to anyone wanting to introduce colors to a child.

This book does show all of the different colors but I didn't like the way they were presented as being paint brushes. Seemed a little confusing to explain to a 2 year old. Probably wouldn't order this one again, but loved the other Barney Goes to the Zoo book.

This is a great little book. The pictures are very colorful and interesting. My kids have all liked this book when they were little. My two year old likes finding and pointing to each animal as it comes out of the tent. Also, there is a part in the book where kids can read along..."Come on in".

THIS IS AN IDEAL BOOK FOR LITTLE ONES. THE BRIGHT COLORS KEEP MINE INTERTAINED. SHE IS NOT QUITE OLD ENOUGH TO READ, BUT WHEN SO, SHE WILL BE TEN TIMES AMAIZED.

This is a small board book that is filled with pictures of farm animals. It teaches the child the sounds that the animals make and also teaches them something about each animal as Barney visits each one. For example, for the cow, it teaches children that milk comes from cows and that the sound they make is "Moo, Moo".

I love this book and my 9 month old loves it as well! It is great especially if you make the animal noises realistic!

This sturdy little board book has been handed down through three families and 6 children and still looks good. In it there are the usual farm animals (cat, dog, duck, cow, rooster, hen and chicks, goat, pig, horse, sheep) plus an owl (and a frog and bee if you look closely).

The drawings are colorful and smaller pages are easy for little folk to turn. Definitely a good educational purchase.

Buy it, your children will enjoy it. If you can make the animal sounds realistically, they will enjoy it even more, but even without it, the book is enjoyable. The pictures are also nice.

My daughter of 13 months old and we have three or four "opposites" type books for her. This is the best of the bunch. I think it's strength is in the fact that it uses actual photos of the objects (hat on/hat off, basket full/basket empty) to illustrate the opposites, which makes the distinction very easy to see. Some of the other books that try to be creative with their drawings don't work as well. They have done a good job with this book and my daughter definitely enjoys turning its pages.

This is a great book. My son really started enjoying this book around 2 years old. It is simple reading (one sentence per page)and fun. Teaches things like on/off. It is not a story. But strickly focuses on opposites. I have read it to him so many times he now can recite it and pretends to read it to me. I really enjoy this book for the "please read me a quick story Mommy" times! He now has even began to "read" it to his younger brother.

This is a sturdy little board book. Barney wakes up and heads into the activities of the day: eating breakfast, playing with friends, eating lunch, playing with friends, eating dinner with friends, getting ready for bed, and heading into dreamland. A perfect little book for little tykes.
