A princely story . . . 5 out of 5 stars.

Contemporary category romance novels hold no charm for me. I do NOT want to read about cowboys, babies and/or daddies. But a prince? Hmm. That'll get my attention, every time. I'd never heard of this author before reading this book, but I'll certainly remember her in the future. Prince or no prince.

In this instance, the Prince is Rand of Caldonia, and he is of an age to be married. His parents issue the standard ultimatum. Find yourself a bride, or we'll find one for you. He's investigated some of the current 'available's' only to be bored silly for a multitude of reasons. He needs help. If you want to find an eligible princess-quality person, where would you turn for such help? Why, to the person who is the foremost royalty-watcher in the world. She just happens to be Nicole, who is also a Caldonian, but for the past several years has lived and worked in New York as editor of Aristocrats, a colorful magazine devoted to royal-watching.

How can she resist the offer to help her country's prince find his Cinderella? She can't, and I imagine any of us so appealed to, could not, either. Rand is a pretty with-it prince, although the centuries-old family castle needs a lot of up-dating, especially in the technology area.

Through her sources at the magazine, Nicole finds lots of possible eligibles, but one by one they're eliminated from consideration, until finally -- well, you should read it for yourself. It's a very satisfying book on many levels. Extra fun if you're a royal watcher, yourself!

If you like your heroes manly and mysterious with a dash of boyish charm, TAMING ROWAN is for you. He's maddening and mesmerizing, handsome and human in just the right combination, and heroine Karin-- intelligent, sensitive, womanly--leads him on a merry chase in a lush English setting.

New author Suzanne Barrett's fine writing is fresh and fun--a joy to discover. I predict she is one writer who will go far. Carolyn Woolston (writing as Lynna Banning)

Thwarted by an over-protective family when their affair was hot, Brand succumbed to the pressure to leave this woman from the wrong side of the tracks. Dani parted company, but it was Brand's domineering mother who sent her away. Dani denied him his child in retaliation, not allowing him the privilege of watching the boy grow up. Brand never knew Dani was pregnant. A failed marriage later, Brand brings Dani and Dave into his life. He lost the affection of a daughter from his previous relationship and craves contact with a child. From Atlanta to Milwaukee this couple strives to make their doomed relationship work under stressful circumstances. Josephson writes scorching love scenes in this mainstream contemporary with just the right mixture of realism and romance. Dreams can come true.

IN MY OPINION:
If someone asked me what theme I hate in a book it would be the dreaded secret baby, which is why it really surprised me when I fell in love with this book. Superstar NFL Quarterback Brand Carendon is shocked to find out he has a eleven year old son David, with old love Dani Murdock. He wants his son, but because of his career the only way to protect David and Danni, is for him and Danni to marry. This is not a typical secret baby story. Brand is not like most hero's that would forgive and forget and even take on some of the blame, oh no, he is royally ticked at Danni and is not shy about telling her that he doesn't trust her. However, somewhere along the way as a reader I fell for Danni and so did Brand. When you read about Brand's mom a lot falls into place. She makes the wicked witch of the west look like Santa Clause. And Brand's daughter from his first marriage is only six, but she is a mini replica of Brand's mother. Thank goodness Dani has come into her life, so that she and Brand can show this little girl the love and happiness she has been missing. And David really blossoms under his father's love and attention. The family that Dani and Brand has built will be put to the test when they return to their hometown. This is truly a story of Enduring Love and it is one of those books that I always pull off the shelf when I want a guaranteed good read.

I am a male reader who does not usually enjoy romance novels. LOVING MAX is a definite exception. Having read and enjoyed the books Wendy Morgan writes as Wendy Corsi Staub, I decided to give this one a chance.

The characters are well-developed and believable---so real that you will feel as if you know them. Combine the interesting characters with a fast-paced plot and you have a true page turner!

Ms.Morgan tells her story from both Olivia's and Max's perspectives, which heightened my interest. And the three children are adorable, the way real children are. These are not "TV sitcom" kids.

I look forward to reading more books from Wendy Morgan. Be sure to read Wendy Corsi Staub's many books, which include her latest suspense thrillers, FADE TO BLACK and ALL THE WAY HOME.

This is my first book by Wendy Morgan and with a 5 star rating will not be the last. I thought the characters and storyline were freshly written, although the storyline has been used many times. This is not a rehash of last decade's run of the mill story. The 'twists' to the story were realistic! Wow, finally a writer that writes about things going wrong and knowing we the reader will still get our 'retreat from reality fix'. I applaude Ms. Morgan on her courage, even though we know it will turn out alright. Hey, this is still category romance. :) Ms. Morgan also writes under another name. That information can be found when you purchase this book.

This is perhaps one of the best romance books that i have read and trust me I read a lot. It's one of those books that requires you to curl up under your comforter on a cold day while the wind ragges outside. "A shy young teacher and writer,Melisande visits Rio to do research,never dreaming that she will be swept up into the sensual rhythms of Carnavale..........and into the the arms of a handsome tycoon".

Melisande is a shy and conservative teacher on a research in Brazil where her future is sure to change. She is a type of person that is strong and yet afraid to discover the sensual part of her. Alex is a rich tycoon, he is a jeweler, who is afraid to trust women in general and when fate brings him in contact to Melisande, he believes that she is after his position and wealth.

I personally believe that this is a well written book because both characters seem to be individuals with their own mind not depending on each other for support, i mean for a customary romance their is always the expectation of one partner begging the other for forgivness, we all look for that its just that this time both characters seem to recognize the importance of what happened and seemed to be able to hold on to that and yet move on.

The secondary characters Maria and James were wonderfull and i wonder perhaps if there is a book about the because there are hints about their rocky road to love. Buy This Book Today!!!!!!!!!!.
