Wonderful devotional. My mother bought this for our daughter (she's 7 and in first grade) as a birthday gift and she just loves it. We have read through the entire book over and over again and she never gets tired of reading the devotionals. It's very well done. The stories are great and keep her attention. The scripture versus fit the stories perfectly and are easy for her to understand. This devotional is not over her head. All the subject matter is stuff that she can understand and can relate to her everyday life. This is very well done. Highly recommended.

This delightful devotional is perfect for bedtime, dinnertime, or anytime. Each short devotion includes a story about an animal illustrating its dominant trait as created by God. That trait is then related to a child. Questions at the end are fun for the young child to answer, such as picking out something in the picture, asking what the animal is doing, and asking what God wants us to do. Each devotional concludes with a short bible verse.

Each devotion is packed full of truth. The method in which the truth is presented keeps our sons interested. Also, the truth is shared in such a way that practical application is quite obvious. I highly recommend this devotional to assist your children in growing in their personal relationship with Christ.

This is the first devotional book that my 11-year-old has enjoyed. He actually looks forward to reading it each day. He's a typical spongebob-watching, mp3-listening, psp-playing pre-teen, so a Christian devotional book holding his attention like this is a Godsend. Highly recommended!

So far, this is the most helpful book on prayer that I've read. There's many books on prayer that are very lengthly and have lots of theology. But this book is especially meant for teens about my age (13-19). I suggest this book to any Christian teen who wants to have a good prayer life and who really wants to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. The book covers pretty much everything you, as a teen, will need to pray about. For teens that just became a Christian, don't sweat it! This book is definitely for you, as well as for the teen that has been a Christian for a long time. It reviews all the types of things one should pray about to break the strongholds of the enemy so that God can work in your life and in your school and in your family too. I would suggest this book for the mature and for the immature. The strong and the weak. And for every teenage Christian that loves God. A good devotional for pre-school girls 4 out of 5 stars.

My 3-year-old daughter and I have enjoyed "God and Me!--Devotions for Girls Ages 2-5" for the past several months. Each day's reading covers a topic such as obedience, faith, sharing, etc., with a Scripture verse and a short story about children this age to illustrate it. Then we use the three discussion questions given to review and make our own personal application. This has often been so relevant to where she is at, and I find this feedback technique an excellent way to know if she really got the point. The facing page has a corresponding activity such as coloring, dot-to-dot, art project to do with mom, or a puzzle. It reinforces the lesson in a very hands-on way and is so good for this active and visual age. The book is spiral-bound which I found makes it easy for my daughter to do the activities. Though all the stories were taken from real-life scenarios, I felt some of them might have been better illustrations of the topics. I also wished for more discussion of the spiritual meanings of the story. But overall, it is written in an attention-getting way for this age group and introduces many new concepts for discussion. I appreciate the book's message that even a small child can learn to know and trust Jesus in every part of their life.

Sticky Situations make kids think 4 out of 5 stars.

I purchased Sticky Situations as part of the expectations for a kids small group. I am wanting to teach them the importance of daily devotions and also help them to think on their own when they need to make decisions. This devotional provides a situational story and then gives the reader several options of ways to respond. After they make their choice the reader can then confirm their answer through the scripture reference. Kids are faced with many choices aside from the one made at home and this book should help them make right choices.

Each page plunges the reader into a particular situation which kids can definitely relate to. The situation is presented then the reader is asked what she he/she would/should do. Lastly, a scripture is given to look up to show a proper Biblical response. Helps kids to think about making good decisions based on scriptural truths.

I found that this Bible was laid out to draw the interest of a young woman between the ages of 13-20. Besides the scriptures in each Book of the Bible, there were other short stories and paragraphs interspersed with illustrations throughout to help the person to compare how the words and message in Biblical times of the Old and New Testament could relate to their own personal life. Hopefully, they could come to a conclusion that people have similar problems and situations no matter how many years separate the generations.

My year old granddaughter Grace LOVES this book. She will pick it out of a pile of books to be read to her everytime. The prayers are simple and sweet, and I am sure she will have them memorized by the time she starts to talk clearly. I highly recommend this book

I started reading this book to my daughter at 2 months old, she is now almost 6 months. If she is being fussy or crying because she is tired I simply say, "Give Me Grace...Monday...Monday make me good and kind..." and she looks up at me and smiles and I read it to her. It's the most amazing thing to see. The book is great, the illustrations are lovely, and the messages are wonderful.
