Our daughter loves the Super Why series and this book is cute in attempting to explain why Santa comes on Christmas. I also like how it emphasizes making gifts from your heart (if you are inclined to do the gift thing) which makes both you and the recipient happy. Our daughter is three and is absolutely mesmerized by the pages, the pictures and the story. She loves to find the Super Letters and wants to read this book again and again. The pages are high-quality - they seem to be a bit thicker than your average book (nice for three-year-old hands) and I think we're going to have a hard time putting it away after Christmas. :)

I loved when dumpty dangerous turned into poop. I read it every time I went to hockey practice. There is a lot of action in this book. You better check it out :)

I would recommend this book because it is clever and funny. There is a bit of bathroom humor but my son loves that and it keeps him reading. It is a trade off I am willing to make.

We first read this book when my son was in Kindergarten. He and his dad laughed hysterically. Of course it talks about poo and he's at that age where that's funny stuff.

This is a great little book. It's fabulous for early readers excited about the new Spiderman movie coming out. My little one learned to read it and is having a ball with all the new villains introduced in this book. Each of the main characters are introduced, then the villains. But, Spiderman is portrayed as a hero and encourages kids to be a hero too. Well loved (we've read it nightly over and over again for a week!) and highly recommended!

This is a great book for Spiderman fans. My four year old is obsessed with good guys and bad guys so this book was perfect. Nice explanation of heros and villians.

Movie tie-in books like this are like chewing gum. They lose their flavor quickly.

My sons, ages 6 and 4, are die-hard Spider-man fans. However, there aren't many superhero books my sons can read and enjoy that are age appropriate. Most comic books are written for teenage and adult audiences. And I don't let my sons watch the PG or PG-13 rated superhero movies (Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four).

I bought this book hoping it would feed their interest in an age-appropriate format. I now wish I had my money back.

Negatives:

The book is a narrative not a story. The author, Harry Lime, introduces us to Spider-Man, Sandman, Venom and the New Goblin but the characters do not interact.

Steven Gordon's illustrations are horrible. With so many comic book artists available I can't understand why the book looks like an insurance pamphlet.

My son got this for his 4th birthday. This book is great. It has pages and pages of stickers (over 400 of them in all different sizes). There are also several pages of various backdrops that you can place the stickers on to create your own Ben 10 adventure scenes.

The stickers are not really repositionable, so once you stick them that's it. But the pages can be pulled out and hung on the wall, refridgerator, etc. Plus, with 400 different stickers this book will last for hours of enjoyment.

Any kid that likes Ben-10 would like this book. 5 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my son who is 6 years old. He loved it!!! Each page is a different scene, so he could make up stories that went along with the pictures that he was creating with the stickers. You can't remove and re-apply the stickers very well, but he still loves to play with it. Any kid that likes Ben-10 would like this book.

This is an excellent, high quality sticker book. There are over 400 stickers and apart from variations on the Omnitrix symbol, none repeat. All the central Ben 10 characters are featured.

The book also has 47 color pages with background illustrations (alien planets or scenes from Ben's world) that kids can stick the stickers onto. I bought copies of this for each of my sons - it kept them amused for a three hour plane flight and there's still heaps of stickers that are unused. Highly recommended.

A new Christmas Classic in my house 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my 2-year-old son who loves the Backyardigans. I love that this book has beautiful illustrations and the foils add something extra too. There are a few flips on each page and keeps my son interested in the book when he gets tired of listening to me reading. (he has ripped a few off, though) The text rhymes and I sing the book's words to my son in the tune of "Jingle Bells" sometimes and he laughs. This is one book he wants to look at and have me read to him. In fact, he got two for Christmas (one from me and grandma) and he loves them both!

Just like the "Monster Halloween Party" book, this book is wonderful for any Backyardigan fan and budding book lover. The flaps are so cute, and pretty durable. I would recommend this for any Backyardigan fan.

My three-year-old loves to be read to, especially from books that have flaps. This book fits right into her wheelhouse and our reading sessions are more interactive as she lifts the flaps, points out what's underneath, and giggles. This is a must for parents who (like myself) are trying to limit that daily tug-of-war with television.

Very impressed with this book and the kids love it. Has a lot of detail which really kept the kids attention. It is marked as a level 2 reader for kids but it is more on a level 3 reader.

I got this book for my 5 year old son after getting the partner book, Meet the Autobots. He loved that book so much that getting this one was a no-brainer. The story doesn't follow the movie as much as the Autobots book does, but we were able to learn the names of the various Decepticon characters. The pictures were good and not too scary. I'll try whatever it takes to keep my son interested in reading books, and this does it.

I think this box set is great (I like it so much better than the Thomas stories based on the tv shows), but in my opinion (and my toddler's) Blue Train, Green Train steals the show as the star in this collection. It is much catchier and more fun as a result than the 3 other books (not to say that the other ones aren't good, of course, just that we really love Blue Train, Green Train). It may be a matter of personal taste, but Blue Train, Green Train seems to have better rhymes and rhythm than the other books. I gave it four stars because I wish I liked the other 3 books as much as Blue Train, Green Train--but this might not be fair for the set as Blue Train is an outstanding book in my opinion.

This set is overall a really good value. The board books are on the smaller side (not sure of the exact dimensions, but they are the same size as the other Dr. Suess board books if you have seen those)--I think they the perfect size for a toddler to hold and flip through. The board books are great quality in both physical materials/design/sturdiness and writing (and the case is absolutely adorable) so it is worth checking out. But if money is tight just buy a used copy of Blue Train, Green Train.

My nephew loves Scooby Doo, but he has a rather short attention span, so I was a little worried that this book wouldn't be read much. However, he will sit still for a full story, so this book turned out to be a great gift.

The stories are very long but the kids absolutely love Scooby and usually pick this book out for bedtime reading. The only problem I have is that each story has a different font and some of the fonts are squiggly and hard to read and make my eyes water and blur and it's hard to focus. It's weird but if you have the book you'll know what I mean!
