Choosing the High Road 5 out of 5 stars.

Susie gives her readers a fresh glimpse at the heart of Jesus for us as women and the amazing privilege we have been given to follow Him on the higher road. Addressing each of the areas that women commonly face, she shows us how to draw on the power of Christ and choose the uncommon response of love. This book is for any woman who wants to experience the much more that God promises; the life for which we were created and have been called.
A challenging, thought-provoking book 5 out of 5 stars.

This is an excellent book for any woman who desires a closer walk with God. Susie Larson challenges your thinking and your actions in every chapter. It would be a wonderful book to use as a Woman's Bible Study too. I was deeply challenged to become an uncomman woman.
"We must not forget the basin." 5 out of 5 stars.

In a time when character assassination in the home, work place or church seems acceptable, this is a must read book. Whether you're the victim or the assassinator, Susie eloquently reminds us that "we must not forget the basin (pg.115)." To visualize Jesus-The Son of God, gently scrubbing the filth and dirt off of the feet of others as an act of unconditional love is gripping when you stop and paint the picture in your mind. We are challenged not be party to shredding the character of others be it trite or in depth. And if we are on the receiving end of being verbally abused, we are challenged to do the unthinkable--take the bowl of water and the towel and tenderly wash the feet of the accusers in return. That's what makes an "Uncommon Woman."
