This book is great it gives the low down on all badies and stats about each character. It even tells you how you should use each character in battle.

I recommend this guide book even if you're a person who doesn't use it. It has good pictures, a list of all the Chao and some of them which you can only get in certain conditions, character stats, and how to beat certain bosses It also recommends which team you should use and why. For example, your first battle with Imperator Ix, it says what unless you use certain characters, it will be a difficult match. For example, the guidebook says that the easiest way to defeat Ix is to use a team of Sonic, Tails, Dr. Eggman and Omega. Sonic can be used to both heal the party and dish out a fair amount of damage to the boss. Since he always attacks first, he is crucial. Eggman can be used to attack all three enemies with Bombardment because he can kill Ix's men in two hits if his attack is level 3. Omega can be used to attack Ix directly because all of his attacks do mega damage to one opponent and Ix is the big threat. Tails is used to heal both HP and PP to two party members per turn and then use other moves to increase the defense or increase the number of turns one can attack after that. The boss will probably be dead though if you can input all the commands on the touch screen.

Sure the guidebook forgets to add certain things on the map which is very detailed and accurate if you want to get every ring and Chao Eggs in the game. Getting rings in the game is important because not only do you need them to buy items from the stores, but you need them in order to continue your game. If you have no rings when your party dies, you probably have to start all over from chapter 1. This might be false though as I have not gotten a game over yet. Who would want to get a game over anyway? As for Chao Eggs, they are important to the game too because they give the character a special ability when bonded with the Chao itself. While it may be annoying to get a common chao, you might get lucky and get a unique or rare chao. If you decided to help Cream in chapter 3, you automatically get her Chao Cheese which is one of the best Chaos in the game, increases the chance of an ambush and a critical enemy.

This is the reason why I recommend the guidebook. With it, you can get so much detailed information. You even get notes on what the creators of the game think and their strategies that provide helpful hints. You won't even need an FAQ online if you have this guide book. So if you're stuck, get this prima guide before it disappears because that happened with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle strategy guide!

I quite like Complete Champion, which offers more depth on the major D&D religions, some cool feats and alternative class features, spells, and magic items. I didn't think too much of the prestige classes, but I rarely find prestige classes very compelling. Then again, I thought the "Shadowstrikers" have a very cool flavor: sort of a military alliance between the churches of Pelor and Heironious out to save the world. The Summon Holy Symbol and Metal Fang were a couple of handy spells that, upon reflection, should've come out years ago. The new feats include Domain Feats, each one associated with a particular domain that the cleric has to have to take it. The new reserve feat associated with healing (Touch of Healing) could revolutionize how some parties approach healing between battles: so long as you keep a 2nd level or higher cure spell in reserve, you can slowly heal your buddies up to half their total hp without casting a spell or expending a charge off a wand. (The feat is particularly useful for druids and bards.) The Holy Warrior feat is a personal favorite (constant boost to damage, but you need access to the War domain). An earlier review suggested that the book is only helpful for paladins: I couldn't disagree more. There is a divine-style alternative class feature for every class: the ones for ranger I thought were cool, and there are options for fighter and monk that enable them to align their weapons/unarmed attacks without needing a cleric to cast Align Weapon. Most of the magic items work for anybody, although some are only for druids, clerics, or paladins. The rules for joining church organizations, whether or not you're a cleric or paladin, have some neat little benefits: I thought the 1st rank benefits for followers of Moradin (+5 movement for only 500 gp and some easy criteria) is a good example of something any dwarf would appreciate. All in all, I really liked it.

Man, this is an awesome guide. I just got it in November and I already am at the Victory Road, about to enter the Pokemon League! Some reviews says it tells lies, and skips around the world of Hoenn; it doesn't! Some people even say that it skips Trainer imformation; but that's because Trainer's Pokemon are random. And for the "skipping around" part, just use the Quick Walkthrough to be guided and then head to the events of Hoenn in "Maps of Hoenn"! Some reviewers say that the guide calls Rock types Earth types, but that's usual. The guide even contains a Pokedex section, a List of Moves and a list of items! Here are the good and bad details about the guide (although it isn't that bad.)

- The Good,
- Nice walkthrough that connects to the Quick Walkthrough.
- Thorough Pokedex, containing every Pokemon.
- Nice charts for moves, and items.
- Strategies for all Sub Quests and Pokemon Contests.
- Good strategies for gym leaders, rivals and proteges, a.k.a. Wally.
- Nice maps showing every building.
- Locations of all Pokemon
- The Bad,
- Doesn't include Secret Bases.
- On the battle with Archie in the Seafloor Cavern, he doesn't have a Golbat, he has a Crobat.

- And the Ugly(I'm just kidding!)

Anyway, buy this guide; it's well worth it!

Nice game, went over really well and it was refreshing that it did not take forever to conquer the game and you did not leave feeling like you were lacking in the I.Q. dept. Gameplay is nice and smooth and it was easily addicting!

My son loves his new Wii (and all of his other Nintendo gaming)and along with every game he loves to get a guide. While some of his friends say they won't use them as "cheats" he finds that he gets more out of the game finding "secret codes" and such that let him do more. We don't feel it's a cheat in any way, just a great compliment to make the games more fun. The plus is that it means is doing more reading than he would if he were just playing the games and for young kids, reading is always a great thing, especially when they are very interested in the material. We have bought MANY of these Nintendo Guides and they are all GREAT!
