This product was just what I was looking for. I am a therapist and use a mindfulness approach with my patients. Having access to such a welldone resource that is easy to use and understand for beginners has been very helpful.

The author provides a powerful framework and practical set of principles and straight forward exercises for living in the now and gaining peace of mind. The book has less spiritualism - which can be off putting for some - compared to Tolle's A New Earth or The Power of Now (which offer profound insights from an enlightened human being, IMO).

Ekhart Tolle's message is simple: living in the now is the truest path to happiness and enlightenment. And while this message may not seem stunningly original or fresh, Tolle's clear writing, supportive voice, and enthusiasm make this an excellent manual for anyone who's ever wondered what exactly "living in the now" means. Foremost, Tolle is a world-class teacher, able to explain complicated concepts in concrete language. More importantly, within a chapter of reading this book, readers are already holding the world in a different container--more conscious of how thoughts and emotions get in the way of their ability to live in genuine peace and happiness.

Tolle packs a lot of information and inspirational ideas into The Power of Now. (Topics include the source of Chi, enlightened relationships, creative use of the mind, impermanence, and the cycle of life.) Thankfully, he's added markers that symbolize "break time." This is when readers should close the book and mull over what they just read. Its hard to pick which of Eckhart Tolle's books or CDs I like better but this one says everything in a short 2cd format. I have several of his works but this one is the one I keep with me if I travel or I'm driving--it keeps me on track. Thank you.

Beyond the information that is being conveyed, something deeper happens. I love this cd. I would have given it 5 stars for content but the recording isn't great in the beginning. If you like Eckhart then this will be a nice addition as he uses a lot of humor at this retreat and it made me laugh at the folly of us all in everyday life. But, if you are only going to buy one cd, then buy the cd of his book "A NEW EARTH". So much more information.

This book isn't some quick, half-hearted cash-in for How I Met Your Mother Fans, it's basically Barney Stinson in paperback form. The Bro Code is hilarious. If you're a fan of the show you'll likely hear Neil Patrick Harris' voice in your head as you read the book cover-to-cover. With diagrams, footnotes, and over 150 "codes" written by the show's writers, this is a can't miss book.

Bro,

Truly a must for everyone from Aspiring-Bro to Broet-laureate. This Book of Bros will fully explain the intricacies of the brocabulary, the history, and the code itself. Includes original text of the first 'Bro Code' written in the mid 1700's, all Articles of said current "Bro Code" as well as all ammendments currently in effect. All Bros MUST own/worship this volume (book doesn't cut it).

If you want to have a child excel then this is your ticket to having a sucessful gift. That will last a life time. GET IT WILL WROTH YOUR MONEY!!! I would have paid more my grandson had improve with one time of using this he went from making all F's to an a- in one time of use with his spelling, you can't go wrong with this, to all gransparents get this as a gift for your grandkid grades 1-5 instead of useless toys or better yet have mommy and daddy get this and us grandparents will buy them their toys!!! Cause we grandparents want the best for our beautiful grandchildren!!! From a loving mommaw to all great grandparents!!!!!
