Overall this is a great buy, the different voices with different inflextions and emotions and the sound affects in the background all add to bringing the text to life. The only problem I have with this product is a small one but it is that the voices of all of the angels are woman's voices even though the text identifies them in the male gender. I am not saying that angels have a gender but the Bible consistently speaks of them in the male gender and the CD's are confusing when you hear, "Then he said to her..." and it is a female voice talking." Just something to look out for.

This meditation touches every area, when you are done you will notice that your vibrations and your energy have completely shifted. I have worked with most of Doreen's meditation CDs and love them all but this one is very special because I noticed an immediate effect after the first time I did it. I tend to absorb vibes and energies from other people and this meditation helped me release them all. I highly recommend it even if all you want is relax and let go of stress and tension and you might get a pleasant surprise when you discover some unexpected benefits from this meditation.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product! I bought it thinking James Earl Jones would read the Bible with his signature slow, rich voice and I didn't notice he'd only be reading the New Testament. Unfortunately, Mr. Jones and Jon Sherberg, who reads the Old Testament, both race through the sacred texts as if the recording studio was on fire. Mr. Sherberg adds insult to injury by his flamboyant delivery ~ "eevill" a la Mike Meyer and other dramatic flourishes. With hindsight, I wouldn't buy an audio Bible without being able to listen to part of it first because you can't return CDs once they're opened. So I'm just out about $50 because I don't even know anyone who'd want this dud! FYI: Johnny Cash has an audio reading of the New Testament that's excellent. I just wish he'd done the Old Testament....

This CD set is taken from a series of classes given by Pema Chodron to help us to understand that we can have some control over the thoughts and emotions that enter our minds. Although meditation is the primary tool used by Buddhists to be become of aware of and work with thoughts and emotions, the information given by Pema Chodron is not specific to meditation. We all have trouble dealing with our emotions at times, and these teachings help us to see what it is that we are dealing with and offers advise on how to deal with our emotions. I don't meditate, but I found the information to be very useful and I believe it can be of benefit to everyone. Pema Chodron speaks in a very accessable manner and uses stories and humor to illustrate her teachings, making it very easy to listen to these CD's. I can't imagine that anyone would not appreciate hearing them--I've listened to them several times. I highly recommend this set.

Its hard to pick which of Eckhart Tolle's books or CDs I like better but this one says everything in a short 2cd format. I have several of his works but this one is the one I keep with me if I travel or I'm driving--it keeps me on track. Thank you.

For Eckhart Tolle and the millions whose lives he's touched, words that are spoken from a state of presence can carry seekers into that same state, the basis for all true spiritual teachings. Beyond the information that is being conveyed, something deeper happens. While Tolle's writing is not simple, he does not "speak down" to his audience in any way — his talks are far more informal, relaxed, and funny. Dr. Dyer's content is almost always right on. This version of his wisdom helped me to tap into a bigger conciousness and manifest my new novel. My own content was previously "out there" and his "Meditations..." helped me capture my story and channel it through my head and out my hands. The result is Uncle Juan's Cabin which is a dramatic, timely tale. It is entertaining and inspriational...just like Dr. Dyer's many works.

I didn't plan on buying this CD at the time but somehow mistakenly or was it a mistake, I received this CD instead of what I thought I ordered. I am so grateful for the mistake I thought I made because I am learning with the use of this CD how to meditate and relax my thoughts everyday.
