Absolute Beauty is a comprehensive, in-depth resource for achieving 'beauty' through the ancient practice of Ayurveda. I am relatively new to the study of Ayurveda, and I found this book to be one of the most well written, user- friendly and practical books I have come across. Author, Pratima Raichur, approaches skin conditions primarily as a symptom of an underlying imbalance - treating the root cause of the symptom as well as the particular way in which it manifests in the skin. So while the book speaks directly to beauty through beautiful skin - it goes far beyond, providing a wealth of information to assist the reader along the path to beauty and health.

I own a aesthetic and plastic surgery center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Several of my patients are men, I encourage a great deal of these patients to do "Facebuilder", in just 7 minutes a day these patients are able to dramatically tone their face.

Men find this program easy to use, effective and result oriented, not to mention they love their results. I highly endorse this program, I been encouraging my patients to do Carol's program for several years, the results never cease to amaze me.

First I want to say that I am 56 years old and thought I looked pretty good for my age. I usually don't go for any type of formal exercise programs other than my usual weight lifting and light jogging. But when my wife suggested that my face might need a little toning I thought; why not give this program a try? After all, she had been using Ms. Maggio's program for women and looks great! Well, I guess my jaw was looking a little slack and my eyes a little droopy after all! After 3 solid weeks of working out my face -- I look like a new man! The Jaw Toner exercise really burns the jaw and tones it up REALLY QUICK. The Eye Toner one really helped open my eyes up so I no longer look sleepy! Go for it guys -- don't wait for the wife to tell you you need it!

In hisopening chapters, Perricone explains why skin wrinkles and sags--a combinationof factors including the passage of time, stress, poor nutrition, excess alcoholconsumption, sleep deprivation, and exposure to cigarette smoke, sunlight, andpollution. Ultimately, however, it all boils down to damage caused by thoserenegade free radicals.The bulk of his book is then devoted to a clearly presented skin care regimenthat involves oral and topical antioxidant therapy. On the oral front, heemphasizes eating antioxidant foods, such as cantaloupe and dark green leafyvegetables, and avoiding "bad carbohydrates" (high in the glycemic index) suchas pasta, sugar, and pancakes. While it does a remarkable job explaining how to enhance your outer beauty, it is unique on its focus on cultivating the inner beauty waiting to be released in us all. This is a GREAT book!!! Beautiful!!! I got chicken skin when i read the writer had painted her right hand (shown in the cover of the book) even when she is a right hand writer. That's amazing... This is not a fashion book; it is a cultural book where you will about the ancient roots of the mehndi art among other stuff. I love it!!

Not your best introduction to Burt's Bees products 3 out of 5 stars.

I love Burt's Bees products, and I pick them up whenever I get a chance. Unfortunately, I grabbed the facial kit thinking it would be something different and fun, and it was a big fat waste of money. The kit comes with samples of several of Burt's products, a very tiny ceramic bowl, and a small book about facials. The products were good, but this is pretty much the worse deal you can get if you want to try Burt's Bees products. Almost any store that sells Burt's sells the Head-to-Toe starter kits, which contain everything the Facial Kit contains, plus more. I thought the book would be helpful, but it is REALLY tiny and gives no information beyond basic instructions for using the products, which can be found on the product labels. Really, the only thing that was new to me was the suggested order for using the products. Also, to give yourself the facial as described in the book, you're supposed to use toner and moisturizer, neither of which came in the kit. Therefore, the kit wasn't even what I thought it was when I bought it, since I thought that I could at least get one complete facial. Overall, it's a waste of money. The only reason I give it three stars is that I really love Burt's Bees, and I have no complaint about the skincare products in the kit.
