Kiss of Desire is a playful guide to techniques of oral pleasure, a comfortable exploration for both men and women. Simple and specific, the book gives easy details on how to nibble, breathe, kiss and otherwise use the mouth to give enjoyment. Kiss of Desire is completely nonthreatening, and the vivid, stimulating illustrations and fantasy photos provide '"how-tos" while also firing the erotic imagination. The book is fun reading, or great for just thumbing through to look at the pictures. It's full of info and turn-ons, including a delicious recipe for a sex shake. Stubbs' lighthearted style is in itself liberating, and even accomplished lovers can pick up a tip or two.

I found the book interesting. But, still the information was very basic. I felt it could have benefitted from the input of actual case histories of couples or single persons who have tried these methods with their partners and how long it took them to make progress. Also, I was sort of shocked at the size of the book given that it was so expensive. The information could be useful. I have yet to try it out yet. But, it needs more work as it feels too much like a step by step pamplet.

The title of the book was very intriguing, and I thought it might contain extremely valuable knowledge. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. This book is one of those one-advice-tip-per-page books that happens to be about sex. It isn't always directed to only the husband as the title suggests, but has some useful advice for both partners. Even though it wasn't what I was expecting, I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely not a must-have, but certainly not bad if you're into platitudes about sex.
