This book does very well in writing out the basics for men in married relationships. For those seeking even more study in this important area, the dvd "New Free Sex" offers a very advanced guide to spiritual sex without offensive nudity or foul language, and the dvd/video "New Sex Now" is great for those less shy. All these three are very worthwhile and important tools for happy and healthy marriages.

Two experienced sex therapists elaborate on how to make a relationship fun and meaningful without feeling guilty. I hoped that "The Married Guy's Guide to Great Sex" would tell me what I really want to know, but I'm not sure if I understood everything they were talking about. I can't recommend this book to men who want to discover what brings pleasure and intimacy to a relationship if they need a marriage councellor.

I ordered this book with high hopes that the elusive girl over the cube wall would be mine 4ever. When I got home and open the box and finally got my hands on my prized purchase, I couldn't wait for the mysteries to be unlocked. With a one star rating you may already know where the review is going. I tried to follow in Oscar's footsteps but apparently my feet were too small and I got off on the wrong foot. I used the three different angles they laid out and to say it didn't work would be an understatement of epic proportions. Not only did it not work with the hottie over the cube wall but failed with the un-hottie in the mailroom. I can only say that I was devastated by the claim that it would work even for a pathetic guy like me. In closing, I would say that if you're trying to get the girl of your dreams or for that matter a date with a girl in the mail room this is not the book for you.

But the author's personal attack on a reader made sure I will never buy it. If you place yourself or your work in the court of public opinion, don't be so naive to think that everyone will applaud your efforts. I was appalled at this lack of professionalism from the author. Live and let live - not everyone will like your book. Sheesh! "Brand of stupidity" - That's a little harsh, and for something you chose to comment on a year later. Too bad you can't erase your comment; you're loosing readers because of something you did on impulse (or maybe it did actually take you 10 months to come up with that) :-O.

I thought this was a sex manual, it's not. It's really a summary of a bunch of articles and books thrown together. Better and possibly cheaper to read the original sources. I didn't find it terribly helpful but you might want to get it for your son when he turns 16 if you have a good relationship with him.

Interesting, humorous, but you cant take it serious 3 out of 5 stars.

I assure you I have a lot of fun reading this book. It's so humorous, and even sacrastic. However, the objective of it seems to help you get laid and thus full of short term tactics, with no long term strategies at all to win a lady's heart. Not much had been said on the manipulation of emotions like jealousy, gratitude and admiration, which had been stressed both in the beginning and ending of the book. Furthermore, there's very weak association of Machiavelli's teachings with those of the author.

In case you just want a leisure read, it's more than okay. If you wanna find a book that can help you to win somebody's love, go somewhere else.

p.s. Below please find a copy and paste of some points on pg 112/3 of the topic "answers to common excuses". I think they are quite representative of the book's general style.

F: I dont know you.
M: I dont know you very well, either. Do I let it bother me?
F: I'm having my period.
M: That's great! This is the one time of the month you dont need any protection.
F: I'm not in the mood.
M; Let me lick you for two minutes, then tell me you're not in the mood.
F: You're not just not my type.
M: Close your eyes and pretend it's someone else.
F: But it's our first date.
M: Dont think of it as our first date. Think of it as our last date.
F: We have such a beautiful friendship, I dont want to ruin it this way.
M: Are you kidding? This will make it deeper and more meaningful!
F: But I have a boyfriend.
M; Dont worry. I wasnt planning on telling him.
And the author even added, "There is almost no insurmountable excuse for withholding the booty."

Overall, I was satisfied with this book. It gives some useful, if not practical tips and suggestions on being under the covers with a woman. Nothing earthshattering or too enlightening here though. If you are looking for insight, check out How to Give Her Pleasure OR The Romantic's Guide by Michael Webb.

When I first chose this book, I intended to find just questions that apply for men. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the questions can apply to both sexes. I have used this book for intimate get-togethers with close friends, as a tool to get to know more about the people you know best. This book is great for those beginning a relationship or those who have been in a relationship who would still like to know their partner on another level. I would recommend it!

I picked up this book, hoping to find questions that would truly help me get to know my partner better. Instead what I found were a lot of short generalizations, blithe answers, and questions I couldn't care less about. The sealed pages at the back (that contain the answers) are annoying and unwieldy. Finally, Ms. Corn (or her editors) should invest in a proofreader. There are so many mistakes all over this book, I felt like asking for my money back! You're much better off with "The Book of Questions" by Gregory Stock, or any of the other "question"-type books out there. Don't waste your money on this one.
