This is an awesome book for the novice, it show's pictures of the many different jewelry making tools and provides explanations as to what they are used for.

I am just learning how to make crystal jewelry. This is the fourth book I purchased and it is the best. To actually see the illustrations is invaluable. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make jewelry.

I recently decided to start making jewelry, got on Amazon and started looking at book reviews. This one seemed to be really popular, so I ordered it sight unseen and I havent been disapointed. Its a beautiful book. Has great pictures and easy to understand directions and her jewelry is amazing. She shows you how to wrap wire around wire. She even shows you how to twist it using a drill. It does take a little practice to get good but what an awesome effect. She also shows you how to do twisted jump rings. I don't think anyone would be disapointed with this book. Another great one I found at book store was Creating Wire and Beaded Jewelry by Linda Jones.

if you are a beginner and have absolutely no clue of what you want to do with you jewelry then this book will be helpful....is a great intro guide...if you have some eyars doing jewelry and of course have thought of selling it and have seen other jewelry and how they are market then this will do nothing for you.

I am new to beading (about one year) and have found books on my level to be either boring or ugly in their designs. This book is neither. It has gorgeous photographs and more than enough intermediate and advanced projects for me to shoot for. Each project is labeled by skill level and time necessary to complete. You will be amazed at what you can complete in less than an afternoon. Highly recommended.

I have been making handbags and totes for years, and own many, many books and patterns on the subject, but I still learned new things from this book. It would be the one resource I would have if I could only have one. From the tools and techniques in this book, you could go on to make any kind of handbag. Curiously, I didn't buy this when it first came out because I don't like the looks of the bag on the cover. It's my least favorite looking bag in the book, but the exterior looks really don't matter--from what is learned by using this book, you will be able to create any look you desire.
