This is my favorite bible for giving away to people who are not bible readers. the study notes, bible land map, and other helps really help them apply scriptures to there lives.

Now, if I only read the Bible daily, pray about it, and execute the inspirations, I will be OK. Dealing with cancer is tough, but my experience since reading daily is that I am grateful for the chance to change my lifes direction. I no longer am living for money,power and ego, I live to help the 'poorest of the poor'

I love the Life Application Bible. It tells you how to apply what the Bible is saying to your everyday life. I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about putting the Word of God to work in their lives. I also like the NIV version Jo Price.

I ordered a leather bound bible, what I received was a two tone, light blue and brown, imitation leather bible. This is not the way it was advertised. I did call they offered for me to send it back, but said when I receive the replacement one, they could not guarantee that it wouldn't be the same as I already received. So then I said well it don't make sense to send it back, just to receive the same thing yet again, so how about some credit. He gave me $5.00 back from my purchase price, so was resolved. So if ordering this bible, be careful and ask all questions beforehand, so you aren't disappointed. I am good with the outcome.

Great for the beginner and scholar alike. Maps throughout so the reader can view the region where the passage is taking place. The print is a good size although it could stand to be a tad larger.

This study bible is really an eye opener for a deeper understanding of so much. The commentary notes are so helpful, you could teach a sermon just from them. Who ever buys this will be so blessed. This bible also has studies in the back that you can also use. Auto biography's on so many patriarchs, disciples etc. I would highly recommend this bible to new believers on up.

I've read the Bible before but never have I understood its real meaning like I do now. The footnotes below explaining each passage are extremely helpful and the messages are great for thought.

The bible has a lot of interesting and helpful features. The large print really makes it easier to read the great study notes. I was disappointed that the words of Jesus were not in red, I thought all newer bibles had that feature and did not even check it out before I purchased the bible.

THIS BIBLE I HAVE READ SEVERAL TIMES COVER TO COVER. I JUST ORDERED IT IN LARGE PRINT AS MY EYE SIGHT IS FAILING. I GET COMFORT AND PEACE FROM READING IT. IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE AND APPLICABLE TO ENTIRE LIFETIMES.

The nice thing about this Bible is the wonderful commentaries. This is one of the only Bibles that I have read where the commentaries actually challenge the reader to put things into practice in their own life.
This is really an "application" Bible giving practical applications to the areas of the users life that are referenced in the reading.
I would like to have this Bible handy each time I am doing a study, meditation or listening to a preacher speak. It gives challenging and in-depth explanation of topics.

It's a great bible. It is ironic though that on a "large print" bible, the tabs which made the bible more expensive are very small print so they are pretty much worthless. All in all I am pretty happy with it. I would have preferred a color choice or that at least the listing on amazon would indicate the color, which is black.

The NIV Life Applications Study Bible is very helpful to those of us who want to have a better understanding and be more knowledgable about the bible. I'm so glad I bought it and will recommend it to all of my family and friends.

I was disappointed in the "large print" of this purported large print bible. I got it for my mother who is 82 and enjoys reading but can only read large print books. granted this is larger print than your standard bible but not by much.
