Couldn't put it down! 5 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my daughter. She is an avid reader. She could not put it down until she finished reading it! She loves R.L. Stine and this was true to form. She was so excited during the reading that she explained the storyline and plot. She loved the characters, and she also said she was surprised by the ending. She is now reading 4-5-6. I would highly recommend this for any children middle school-aged who like "horror".

Dying for a kiss 3 out of 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Cory Brooks has a crush on Anna Corwin, the new girl in school. She's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. But there's something not quite right about Anna. She always seems to be disappearing. She wears old clothes. And the newspaper says she's dead. Cory's friend Lisa Blume thinks that Anna is a ghost. If she's right, Cory might be the next person in Shadyside to be dead.

This is the first Fear Street book ever. I didn't really like it. R.L. Stine definitely improved on the rest of the series. Anyway, some parts of the book were interesting. The prologue really wants to make you read the book. But once you get to the end, you realize that the prologue completely threw you off to the big surprise.

Make sure to look for Cory, Lisa, and Cory's friend David making guest appearances in other Fear Street books. Two of them are 'Missing' and 'Broken Hearts.'

Editorial Review:

FEAR STREET -- WHERE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARES LIVE...

The new girl is as pale as a ghost, blond, and eerily beautiful -- and she seems to need him as much as he wants her. Cory Brooks hungers for Anna Corwin's kisses, drowns in her light blue eyes. He can't get her out of his mind. He has been loosing sleep, ditching his friends...and everyone has noticed.

Then as suddenly as she came to Shadyside High, Anna disappears. To find a cure for his obsession, Cory must go to Anna's house on Fear Street -- no matter what the consequences.

Anna may be the love of his life...but finding out her secret might mean his death.

This is the one of the many books of the Fear Street series, and it's really good. Fear Street is a series about scary and/or supernatural events that happen to teenagers in a ficitional town called Shadyside. In this book, an attractive actress starts getting threats and terrible accidents and deaths are happening all around her. Who could be doing this? Her new college boyfreiend or her jealous ex? Someone else? This has a pretty good twist ending and gives a good taste of future books in the series.Pulitizer material it's not, but for young teens, or anyone wanting a quick thrilling read, this suits the bill just fine. It's one of the best books in the series!

It began as an innocent prank. Call someone on the phone, shake them up a little with some sexy whispers and then hang up. But when one of the numbers is on Fear Street, readers can be sure there is more than "innocence" in store! Original.

THIS BOOK IS GREAT 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 4 people found this review helpful.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes R.L. Stine novels or to anyone who likes a good suspense novel. The plot is that these two girls who have always hated each other and go after the same things, like this guy named Vincent. Both of the girls think he is dating them exclusively, but he's playing both of them. The ending is very unpredictable and interesting

Good Fast Easy Read 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Killer's Kiss is an easy to read fast flowing storyline that although a little predictable it has enough twists that keep the reader questioning what they think is going on is actually what is. R.L. Stine has written a substantial number of books marketed at children, young adults and adults and the publishing company has decided to place Killer's Kiss in the Young Adult category. Whilst some of Stine's childrens' fiction is a bit basic for adults or specifically written to only appeal to a specific age market this is not so with Killer's Kiss. Killer's Kiss is a simple and easy to read book but contains enough storyline substance that those who read most of their books from the adult fiction novel level won't still enjoy this. It also doesn't use teenage specific vocabulary (which would date the book extremely fast if it did) meaning those who are no longer teens can still follow it as well and in ten years time the next generation of young adults will still enjoy it as well.

Killer's Kiss is the story of a the self centred huge egod popular highschool boy (Vincent) and the affect his desire to manipulate two former best friends into believing he is dating each of them exclusively and convincing them the other is just jealous and delusional. Delia and Karina (the two girls) have been competing against each other their whole lives with Delia usually being pipped at the post by Karina. Delia has had enough of this and won't have what she believes to be her current boyfriend stolen from her. Karina has also had enough of what she believes to be Delia wanting everything she has. Throw in a talent contest and you've got an unhealthy competition that's deadly serious!

Editorial Review:

Fear Street -- where your worst nightmares live...

Delia and Karina are always competing. From getting the best grades, to being the most popular, to dating the cutest guys -- they always fight for the top spot.

This year, they both want Vincent -- the hottest guy at Shadyside High.

Karina's determined to get Vince. She'll do whatever it takes. And if she can't have him, she'll make sure no one else can either....

Including Delia.

Andy 's review 4 out of 5 stars.

This book The Confession by R.L. Stine is one of
the Fear Street Series. This is no doubt a great book. The
end of this book had a huge twist, one you never would
have guessed in a million years! This is my first Fear
Street book but I am certain it won't be my last!

A group of students a Shady Side High School
are being Bullied by Al, a tough kid in their school.
He always is making them give him money or beer.
If they refuse, he either blackmails them or threatens
them. When bad goes to worse, he is found dead
in the alley way. Who did it? They all hated Ll, but who
would murder him? Who?

I would recommend this book to 6th and 7th graders
because of the creepy and scary parts. I was creeped out when a girl
goes into her garage to find the killer in the back walking to
her. The book takes about a week to finish if your a fast reader.
Maybe two for a slower one.

One of the Best and Most Entertaining 5 out of 5 stars.

A rich girl who doesn't financially need to work, but only works so that she knows what it is like to have to work, and a poor girl who has to work find a bag of money. The rich girl doesn't need the money, but the poor wants it. They decide to hold it for a while and if nobody claims it, they'll keep it. The suspense is very thrilling, because you don't know if anybody will claim it or not. And I'm not going to tell because you have to read the book yourself and I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

I've read many R.L. Stine Fear Street Books, and even though they are all good, this book is one of the better ones.

Good, but two problems 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 4 people found this review helpful.

This is a good book with two problems. We never got a charecter discription. The night people could have had three heads, we just don't know. The second is we don't know what we are fighting. I think it is Angelica Fear. All we know is they killed Candy for no reason. But it is still a good book. Book one in the trilogy

Editorial Review:

When you can't sleep,

there's always NIGHTS.

It all started with Lewis and Jamie. They were sneaking out late at night to be together. Then their friends started joining in. First at the old burned-down Fear Mansion. Later at the local bar Nights.

They called themselves the Night People. And they carefully protected their secret world. No parents, no work, no stress. Just chilling with friends in their own private after-hours club.

But then the nights turned dark. Unexplainable accidents, evil pranks...and then, later, the killings. The Night People know they have to stop the horror all by themselves, or else they risk exposure -- not to mention their lives.

Things go bump in the Night....

Natasha's Review 4 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I liked the book because it had a surprise ending. It was kind of boring at the beginning but once something bad happened it started to get interesting.
The book Stepsister was about a high school girl named Emily, her sister Nancy, and her stepsister named Jessie. One day when Jessie was taking a nice calm bath, Emily starts to read Jessie's diary. The entry she read was something that she thought that Jessie did was true. The whole time Jessie was living with them some bad things happened, for example, when Emily got home from a dance she found her dog dead. Then the next day she finds her dogs dead body in her backpack. But at the end something happens that you wouldn't expect.
I think this book will be good for anyone older than 10 because little kids they would probably think it was scary. Another reason is that there are words that little kids wouldn't understand.

Editorial Review:

Fear Street -- Where Your Worst Nightmares Live...

Emily wants to like her stepsister, but it hasn't been easy. As soon as Jessie moves in, she takes over Emily's room, steals Emily's clothes, and lies to everyone. Then Emily picks up Jessie's diary and learns a horrifying secret. Is Jessie really capable of murder?

Emily tries to tell her parents, but no one believes her.

So it's up to Emily to expose the real Jessie -- if she can stay alive.

A Thrilling Conclusion to An Engrossing Trilogy 5 out of 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

The Night People can finally rest at ease. The evil is gone. Done with. And while the memories of the vicious pranks, and horrific murders are still emblazoned in everyone's minds, they are nothing more than a part of the past. Everything is back to normal. At last. The friends who are still breathing - Dana, Jamie, Nate, Shark, Lewis - are trying to put their lives back together, and still meet late at night at their beloved hangout, Nights, where they can forget about the past. After all, it was Angelica Fear's ancient spirit that was wreaking havoc. And now Angelica is dead. Burned in a fire that destroyed her body, soul, and spirit for all eternity. But if it's true. If Angelica is truly dead, then how come Jamie still feels an evil spirit lingering around. And what did Angelica actually mean when she screamed out, "The evil lives," through the crackling of the flames.

It is a huge rarity for me to read an entire trilogy/book series all in a row based solely on the fact that I usually get bored with characters. That obviously doesn't apply to Stine's books, for after finishing MOONLIGHT SECRETS, I quickly moved onto MIDNIGHT GAMES, and finished up the trilogy with DARKEST DAWN, all in a period of two days. Stine's characters truly grow on you through each book, as you get the opportunity to see them over a period of time, and see how their personalities change after each bought of evil they encounter. Narrated by Jamie's sensible, caring voice, DARKEST DAWN is a marvelous ending to an engrossing trilogy.

Editorial Review:

When you can't sleep, there's always NIGHTS.

The Night People are safe at last. After all the ugly pranks and vicious murders, things have finally returned to normal. The friends who are left are trying to forget and move on, taking comfort by meeting up late-night at their old hang out, Nights.

It was the ancient spirit of Angelica Fear that caused all the trouble. And now she's been destroyed once and for all. Burned in a fire.

But if it's true that the horror is dead, what did Angelica mean when her voice cried out from the flames?...

"The Evil Lives!"
