It is a book that you just can not put down. 5 out of 5 stars.

I read this book when I was in highscool and just could not put it down. I probably read it a dozen times. Recently, I found it again and though I had read it numerous times before, it still had the same chilling effect as if I was reading it for the first time.

A thrilling story! 4 out of 5 stars.

I have read "Hear the Children Calling" and I found it very adventurous and thrilling!! The only thing was it tended to drag on, but otherwise it was an excellent book!!! And this book was created by an excellent author!!!!

When I read "Ghost House", I was surpsrised at how great of a book it was. The characters are people you get to know and enjoy. The book was very scary.A year later, I was giving a copy of "Ghost House Revenge". I was expecting the ghost of the man to continue his rampage on the family...but no...It deals with a whole new group of characters. This book scared the hell outta me!If you want a book that will give you nightmares, read "Ghost House Revenge". SCARY!

I found the book to be very thought provoking and stimulating. The author is masterful in this book and i could not put it down. I just had to read it from cover to cover. I think this book should be turned into a motion picture.

My all time favorite! 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Cries of the Children was the first novel I ever read. I loved it so much I couldn't put it down! It has been years since I read it but it's impression on me will remain for my lifetime. My only commplaint is the difficulty in finding this book or any others that might exist by Claire McNally! A true master piece in the mystery novel world!

The Cries of the Children 5 out of 5 stars.

I got this book from a friend and I did not read it right away, but when I did I could not put it down. I am not usually interested in science fiction or horror, but this book was great. I am actually reading it for a second time to pick up all of the stuff I missed. I think this book is excellent!

A Fascinating and Disturbing Book with a Strange Ending 4 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

I found this book at a garage sale and was quickly devouring the pages. It was a real page turner. The whole premise behind the book was one I had never before encountered - three young children turn up lost with no recollection of early lives. They become attached to three adults who irrationally cannot call police and find themselves strangely drawn to these children. Then suddenly the children are gone, off to rescue a boy who communicates with them through telepathic voices. I would give this book five stars for interesting beautiful writing. The ending, however, was a tad strange. That does not mean it was a bad ending, mind you, just one that did not interest me as much as the rest of the book.

Editorial Review:

When three gifted children who were found abandoned in different parts of the country and loved by their adopted parents, suddenly disappear, their foster parents begin a rescue mission that takes them into a world of evil. Reprint.

What about the story line!? 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I loved this book, It was a thrilling read from cover to cover. The plot thickened with each page. Never a dull moment. Strange goings on with the heroines history, and her relationship with her brother. The entire storyline changed just when you thought it was climaxing, it led to another peak, and rapidly increased pressure. Once you start reading, it would be a SIN to stop!!!! Another hit for Claire McNally!!

It was a great book and I could read it over and over. 5 out of 5 stars.

One of the best books I ever read 5 out of 5 stars.
3 of 4 people found this review helpful.

I do not read many books but I have happened to read two books from Clare McNally. She is a very good author. Her books are not very long like a text book but are not to short eather like a childrens book. I just got done reading Ghost Light and I must say that the last line in the Epilouge is what freaked me out most. But please, read the whole story before reading the last line. If I could give this book a higher rating than five stars then I would give it the maximum rating. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good thriller. I liked it so much I ended up taking it to work with me.

Not Scary Enough 2 out of 5 stars.

The author didn't say enough about the theatre and I couldn't relate to the ghost because she was too young.
I will admit a few chills went down my spine but the author didn't take her idea far enough.
Why couldn't a young woman or teenager die instead of a young child so the public could better relate to McNally's character?
On the other hand, beggers cant be greedy and book length ghost stories are seldom if ever published!

Editorial Review:

Killed in a fiery "accident" sixty years earlier, child actress Bonnie Jackson returns to the scene of the crime to terrify audiences with her ghostly revenge. Reprint.
