As with any book one reads, the reader must think about what resonates with them, and what doesn't. Much of Lisa's book resonated for me -- some did not. I prefer to take the good, leave the rest. If a book impacts me in a positive way -- which this one did (for the most part), it has value on my journey. If one can apply the concept to their own belief systems so much the better. If there is a higher power in your life, try to figure out how to apply the concepts Lisa talks about from her Christian beliefs to see if you can fit those concepts into your own belief system. If you can be open-minded,this is a book worth reading.

I have found it very helpful, as it goes into detail of defining situations and offering viable solutions. Jimenez is deep.

I found it a bit difficult to read cover to cover because of it's intensity. But I still thouroughly enjoyed the book when I jumped around to read sections relevant to my life. It has something for everyone. Its a kind of book that needs to be re read a few times to get all the meanings. Overall a very nourishing book

If I could give no stars, I would. I'm putting this review on each of Louise Hay's titles to warn people who fall into believing that this is a caring, compassionate person. I met her recently at an event and was about to compliment her on one of the books her company publishes that Dr. Dyer wrote for children. Louise Hay was so incredibly rude to me before I even got to open my mouth that I was shocked. The woman seemed to be only about capitalism, power and ego and, though I had been a previous customer of her publishing company, I will NEVER purchase anything by them again nor will I recommend them. I will not give money to someone so ill-behaved, let alone someone who's telling others to be nice when they haven't learned that lesson themselves. Louise Hay, I hope someone on your team shares this with you. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so nasty!

By contrast, I have dealt with the people at Sound's True a zillion times and all of them are as nice as can be and behave in accordance with their products. I spoke with their people at the same event (and others before it) and they were all lovely.

And, no, I do not work for or am in any way compensated by Sound's True. I simply people should know the truth about who practices what they preach and who doesn't. In my opinion, Hay's behavior was one step down from Cruella De Ville. If you're shocked reading that, imagine how shocked I was experiencing it from her.

I love talking about Agnes as if we're best friends forever. I tell people, "Well, Agnes says..." or, "Agnes put it like this." She is the authority on prayer in our time. Simple, engaging, challenging, and most of all, loving. My faith has been shaken up and rebuilt because of this book. Thanks Agnes.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about spiritual healing. Agnes Sanford shares many of her own personal experiences with healing. In addition, she provides guidance for anyone who is interested in the healing ministry.

Simple, sexy, spiritual - the way life ought to be! 5 out of 5 stars.

I was a little cautious about getting this book. The title kept throwing me off - but the description kept calling me in. Unorthodox it is. It might be offensive to some - but then they are probably not the ones too interested in having a spirituality that beams light of any kind (sorry if that offended the traditional or conservative spiritualist). Sara is brutally honest, blunt, close to her Creator, in touch with her divine and her feminine soul, soaks up wisdom and spews it out lovingly for all to hear, live, love. I would go a step further and recommend it for men - we all long for our feminine soul to sing and dance. Sara, I'm waiting for your next one...your sequel...The Redder Book.

An Excellent Resource For Achieving Your Goals 5 out of 5 stars.

I'm usually not into books on the Law of Attraction. I found "The Secret" kind of hokey, and the metaphysical explanation of how it worked, I think took away from the basic message of the film.

However, I found Robert Anthony's explanation of the LOA very practical. He does veer into metaphysical-sounding language at times, but Beyond Positive Thinking is by far the best description of the whole "like attracts like" principle that I've heard. In the book, he also covers:

*The "glitch" that keeps most people from attracting success into their lives, and even causes them to sabotage themselves, and what you can do to fix the glitch in yourself.

*How to identify and clear out negative beliefs about money and financial success.

*How to set "goal intentions", as well as affirmations and visualizations to move you in the direction of the things you want in life.

It's a short read, but Dr. Anthony manages to cover a LOT of stuff in here. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who's read or listened to other self-improvement programs, but finds themselves still struggling to change their circumstances. But, like anything else, you'll only see results with this one *if you use it*!
